I received the Revdex.com letter today 05/01/2017. I'm responding to the complaint listed in your letter.
 
The customer/[redacted] originally brought her car to our shop for the first time because one of her friends "William T[redacted]" works at our shop. [redacted] came...

with William to drop off the car for an oil change service and to check why her vehicle have check engine light on. After dropping off the vehicle she left with William, When we entered the vehicle vin number into our system we found that the manufacture recommended to use full synthetic oil only., We called the customer and advised her with the price on full synthetic oil change and she said do it.
After finishing the oil change, we computer scanned the vehicle ECU "OBD2 connector under the steering wheel" at no extra charge to find why the check engine light is on as the customer requested at drop off, the faulty code was related the MAF sensor or EVAP system. Advised the customer that further diagnostic is needed and she will have to pay for the diagnostic to figure out the exact problem. Customer declined any further diagnostic or repair at the time and picked up her car.
 
Few days later her father came to the shop and made a seen for no reason demanding $400 to cover the dealer repair for his daughter vehicle which was originally came to our shop with the problem but his daughter declined any further diagnostic or repair. the customer father start screaming at us and threatening us in several ways so we left with no choice but to ask him to leave.
 
If whoever was servicing this customer vehicle in the past damaged the wires and put tap over it or whatever the issue was, it is not our fault as we only did an oil change on her vehicle and the oil change service procedure is way far from the wires or ECU as she mentioning in her complaint.
 
No refund will be issued and this customer is not welcomed to our shop anymore.
