I just contacted [redacted] and he has a yr warranty at 50% replacement I was going to meet with him this coming Saturday 6/10/to deliver his Pine trees [redacted] believes he is entitled to 100% replacement I mentioned the warranty info to him and he claims he was not given a receipt but a receipt is provided at the time of payment and we have had the same warranty since He claims I gave him a hand written receipt but I have never done that [redacted] has refused to pay the 50% therefore he has no warranty

receipt is provided at the time of payment and we  have had the same warranty since 1955. He claims I gave him a hand written receipt but I have never done that. [redacted] has refused to pay the 50% therefore he has no warranty.

I am rejecting this response because:
[redacted] told both myself and my wife that he guarantees his tress 100% if we contact him within one year or purchase. The trees he planted were dead within almost two weeks of planting. Despite our watering every day. We contacted him immediately, which was last June. And it has taken him one year to make contact with us to even discuss the dead trees or try to replace. We would be fools to give this man even more money and pay for seven more dying trees! At the time of purchase, which I paid in full the day he planted. I tried to write him a check. He said he didn't take checks and I needed to get him cash. I went to the bank for him. Paid him 4100 in cash. At first he did not provide a receipt. I had to go and ask him for one. He sat down in his truck and wrote on a piece of paper with a pencil. 28 trees $4100We would not have wasted one years time attempting to make contact with him. And we wouldn't have purchased 28 trees with that sort of guarantee.He kept getting us to buy more and more trees. And we asked on several occasions, "these are definitely guaranteed for one year." And he would agree they absolutely were! Just call and let me know. Wouldn't it be on his records if he truly sent us a printed invoice with his guarantee policy on it?  We never received any documentation from him except the written on piece of paper. He is correct that he did contact yesterday and this is the first time he has ever mentioned in one year that we would need to pay him any additional money for his dead trees to be replaced.
We were tricked and deceived by [redacted]. We will not give him any additiona money. We both stand firm on what we were told. He knows he sold a dying product and instead of honoring what he knows he said, he has lied and manipulated us for one year and is just now referring to this "50% policy in an effort to "resolve." We do not trust him to give him any more money. Those trees he replaces could be dead in another two weeks and than we would have to go through one more year of lying and deception. This is not how you run a company [redacted]. We have four neighbors, just in our subdivision that you did this to also. You have zero credibility at this point.
