When Mr*** delivered his motorcycle to our shop, he handed us a bag of mismatched radio parts which he’d purchased elsewhere but was unable to mount himself Even though Mr*** or someone else had poorly installed an amplifier and speakers utilizing improper wiring
connections, we agreed to install his radio and interface control module - a procedure Riderz, Inchas performed several times without problem To further explain, when Riderz Incjoins any wiring, it is first soldered, then covered in heat shrink making each connection properly secured Before retrieving his motorcycle, Mr*** tested the system, was satisfied with the work and took his motorcycle home Afterward, he contacted us with complaints we hadn’t preset his channels or programmed his clock However, we’re unsure as to how we would know Mr***’s channel preferences Mr*** called again to complain the speakers were "cutting out” These would be the speakers someone other than Riderz, Incinstalled and would be responsible for their function, and we completely agree with PAC Audio regarding the malfunction being install-related Again, Riderz, Incdid not install the speakers We did, however, offer to correct the unprofessional wiring of the amplifier/speakers and diagnose any other problem but not for free since it would be correcting someone else’s work Mr*** refused. Mr***’s next calls were to accuse Riderz, Incof having “wrecked” his motorcycle Shortly thereafter we received a call from his insurance company due to Mr***’s accusations, but the adjuster couldn’t ascertain why Mr*** had claimed we had wrecked his motorcycle when there was no damage to the motorcycle and everything worked when it was inspected It was unclear to the adjuster what exactly Mr*** wanted. Even though it is against our better judgement considering Mr*** has slandered us, Riderz, Incwill still offer him the option of inspecting the work performed elsewhere at the cost of a half hour labor charge. Riderz, Inchas been in business for nearly ten years with no customer complaints It is unfortunate our good reputation could be tarnished by a customer attributing the poor work of either himself or another person or by someone trying to pull one over on his insurance company

I am rejecting this response because:
I did not hand them a bag of misalliance parts. I had them brand parts in boxes. The amp and speakers were installed by a professional shop. With no issue prior to riderz working on my bike. The insurance adjuster told me that he could not proceed do to the fact that I allowed riderz todo the work. It was on me that I chose a shop that could not handle a simple install. My bike is damaged. If it was not it would be in the same or better condition as it was before riderz work on it. When I picked the bike up I paid in cash then riderz pulled my bike out of the garage and said it out side. Everything was blinking nothing was set. I played with in the cold with static out of the speakers and said I'll figure it out at home after it read the manual. About 10 mins of reading the manual. I got it to stop blinking and found a radio station. Took the bike around the block and notice it was bad. So I called them back the next work day. At anytime riderz could have called or took photos if there was questionable work done. I'll find out on January 28. It goes into the shop to be fixed and upon what they find. We will see the other oppitions have. I do have a few. After having this problem and talking to clubs and people inthe neighbor hood.the shop does not have the best reputation. I guess I should have ask the neighboros  before sending my 50,000 dollar bike to this shop.

Review: I paid the shop. To install a radio and hand control controler.I picked the motorcycle up. Notice that the radio was blinking and nothing was programmed. Not even the time. So I took the motorcycle home and started programming the radio.so I could use it. On January 1st the day after I picked it up from the shop. Noticed that the sound from the speakers was cutting out. The volume on the hand controls was not working also. Icontact the shop they emeattly said we can look at for a fee. I said I just paid you 210$ in cash todo this. Then they said let me call the support line and find out. What they say. I said ok a day or two goes by. They call me and say I need additional parts. So I call the support hot line. 866-931-8021 PAC audio. My ref# [redacted]. I talked to cliff. I described my issues with him. He says my problems are install related. I asked about additional parts he said no. I asked about the product I bought. He said there is no problems using PAC audio on motorcycles.the shop does not have reference number.

I asked the shop owner before the repairs if he was capable of doing the work he said yes. I paid this shop to do a job and I just wanted it done the correct way. And if there is a problem the shop should fix it. Not charge me more money for a job he already got paid todo.Desired Settlement: At this point I am losing money. I have to pay one shop to take the motorcycle apart and anther shop to find and fix what riderz did wrong. Hopefully they did not damage any parts. It's 210$ In cash that is how he wanted payment. I would like refound or him to pay to have my motorcycle fixed to the way it should have been done.

When Mr. [redacted] delivered his motorcycle to our shop, he handed us a bag of mismatched radio parts which he’d purchased elsewhere but was unable to mount himself. Even though Mr. [redacted] or someone else had poorly installed an amplifier and speakers utilizing improper wiring connections, we agreed to install his radio and interface control module - a procedure Riderz, Inc. has performed several times without problem. To further explain, when Riderz Inc. joins any wiring, it is first soldered, then covered in heat shrink making each connection properly secured. Before retrieving his motorcycle, Mr. [redacted] tested the system, was satisfied with the work and took his motorcycle home. Afterward, he contacted us with complaints we hadn’t preset his channels or programmed his clock. However, we’re unsure as to how we would know Mr. [redacted]’s channel preferences. Mr. [redacted] called again to complain the speakers were "cutting out”. These would be the speakers someone other than Riderz, Inc. installed and would be responsible for their function, and we completely agree with PAC Audio regarding the malfunction being install-related. Again, Riderz, Inc. did not install the speakers. We did, however, offer to correct the unprofessional wiring of the amplifier/speakers and diagnose any other problem but not for free since it would be correcting someone else’s work. Mr. [redacted] refused. Mr. [redacted]’s next calls were to accuse Riderz, Inc. of having “wrecked” his motorcycle. Even though it is against our better judgement considering Mr. [redacted] has slandered us, Riderz, Inc. will still offer him the option of inspecting the work performed elsewhere at the cost of a half hour labor charge. Review: on may 20,2015 I dropped off my motorcycle at Riderz garage to have new wheel rims, brake & hub kits installed. On or about 6/1/15 I picked up the motorcycle from RiderZ. The owner took it off the lift and rolled it outside of the garage. I had already paid for the services inside the shop. I got on the bike and drove down the street. My ABS brake light would not go out on my indicator. I returned to RiderZ within minutes, infact the pwner was still outside the garage. He asked me if I went over 6MPH, I said yes. Light is suppose to go out once you drive over 6MPH per the [redacted] handbook. When I asked the owner what he was going to do he , got angry and told me " I did what he was suppose to do, " I installed the parts you gave him " . He went on to tell me he lost money on the job. He was extremely angry so I left his business. On 6/3/15 I took the bike to AC [redacted] and told them of my problem. They fixed the problem and told me that a part on the hub was installed incorrectly and that caused the problem. I paid an additional $221.51 to the [redacted] dealers ship to correct RiderZ incorrect installation.Desired Settlement: I would like $221.51 , the cost for me to pay AC [redacted] to fix RiderZ improper instillation
