First of all the radiator failed a week after we had the [redacted] Secondly I was told the alternator would cost me,according to Rides by Ryan between to dollars I was standing right next to Chris when he said bring it down, he never gave youany price whatsoever all the phone calls here are recorded so again it will only embarrass you The alternator in a [redacted] doesn't even bucksIt would have cost you about $bucks to have us do it in your carI sold you a lemon because the alternator failed months, and 10k miles after you bought a car with 181k miles? Lol what planet do you live on??You're right it wasn't a year, but you bought it on 2/so that's months not 6, and 181k might as well be 200kMy point was that it's a high milage car that was sold a while ago nowWe're always willing to give our customers deals on repairs they might need, but you're well past the point where it should be on us to be doing them for freeDemanding otherwise is just ridiculous. We replaced the radiator on it a month after you bought it for freeSo now you think months later we're responsible for replacing your alternator for free? We offered to repair it at a fair price since you bought the car from usTo which you turned around and left a bt better business complaintI am not pregnant but my fiance isI am attaching some messages from Ryan that I feel are very unprofessional You bought a car with 200k miles over a year ago from us that just now had the alternator failWe offered to give you a fair price on fixing itYou're pissed of because we won't fix it a freakin year later for free and you decide to say we sold you a lemon??? Keep it upI'll make sure everyone knows the truth and exactly how ridiculous you areYou're only going to embarrass yourself Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted]

The customer called and spoke with Patrick, he explained that the [redacted] had a check engine light and developed a radiator leakPatrick asked him to bring the [redacted] in so we could address the issuesThe customer asked if the warranty would cover the cost of the radiator, Patrick explained that it was not covered under his power train warranty but because he just recently purchased the car that we would work something out with him and take care of itHe never brought the car in and we never heard from him again until nowIf you read our reviews on Facebook we have a lengthy history of repairing cars at no cost to keep our customers happy with their purchases and our reputation intactThis time was no differentIf he provides us with a receipt for the $spent on the radiator we will reimburse him provided this complaint is withdrawn-Ryan M***

Customer [redacted] purchased the car on 2/16/16. The car was a [redacted] with just over 180k miles. About two months after the... purchase of the car the customer called to say the radiator failed. We told the customer to bring the car by so we could take a look at it. Customer never brought the car by, but a week or so later left a BBB complaint stating that he paid another shop $200 to do the repair. In the interest of making him happy and because of the short time after the purchase, we offered to give him a check for the amount of the repair provided he gave us a receipt from the other shop. He came in several days later to collect his check and closed the complaint. Fast forward to August of this year (over 6 months from purchase) [redacted] called us to state the alternator failed. We told him to bring the car by and we would repair it for a discounted price because he bought the car from us. He became upset that the repair would not be free. We explained that its a high milage used car and he had put over 10,000 miles on the car since purchase and that it was not fair to us to assume we would be covering repairs for the rest of the cars life. We would however do it for the best price possible since it was purchased from us. That was the last we heard of him until this complaint. Never did he mention anything about the brakes, shocks, or transmission, the phone calls here are recorded and we would be happy to provide them. Lastly, the complaint above is clearly written by someone other than the actual customer who purchased the car, unless modern science has figured out a way for a man named [redacted] to become pregnant as stated in the complaint.-Ryan M.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Chris at Ride's by Ryans took care of all the issues for the [redacted] for meHe made sure the underbody was fixed, he took care of the calipers for me when it left me stranded, and lastly he took care of the water pump and alternatorEverytime he had to work on the ***, he allowed me to take a loaner vehicle so he could take his time and get my [redacted] fixed for me, and I wouldnt be without a vehicleOne time, Chris even drove my [redacted] to my house (an hr away) once it was fixed so I wouldnt have to make another trip to the shopHe has really gone out of his way to help us get the [redacted] into good conditionI have even reached out to him to ask if he would do some additional work, for me and he is happy to assist me with a few extra things I am looking to doI am glad things turned out the way they did, and I feel like now the kinks are worked out and I will definatly purchase another vehicle feom them Thank you for posting this as my reply to the complaint***

Chris did not quote you any price whatsoeverThe calls here are recorded and we would be happy to provide the audio from that callHe simply said to bring it downWe're not paying for half of an alternator repair you paid someday else to do on a car you bought months ago and drove over 10k milesYou're past the extended warranty and well past the point of us being responsible for replacing the alternatorIt's a high milage used car, it's going to need repairs from time to timeWe're not responsible for those repairs for the life of the car, and threatening us and posting every where that we sold you a lemon is absolutely ridiculousWe offered to fix it for cost which would have been less than you spent at the other shopHowever at this point we're no longer willing to extend that courtesy after the way you have handled things

We brought *** *** in first to address the issue of rust on the transmission cross member. We replaced the transmission cross-member and descaled and repainted the entire underside of the *** A few days after the *** was returned to her the caliper started to stick, usually we don’t pay for other mechanics to do work on our cars but because the *** was still less than a month old and *** was so nice and had such a hectic schedule we decided together that paying for it for her would be the easiest and best solution. The other mechanic changed the caliper and confirmed for *** that the transmission member replacement and descaling and painting of the chassis was a top notch job. He and *** were both satisfied with the repairs.Several days after she took the *** back, the water pump failed in the ***, it hadn’t been leaking previously or showing any signs of adverse wear, maintenance items like this are unfortunately part of owing a car. In Connecticut cars over years of age or sold as is and the dealer doesn’t have a legal obligation to repair problems that occur after the sale. We always stand behind the cars we sell and if there are issues in the first few weeks of ownership we take care of problems that occur. We replaced the water pump, thermostat, and gasket. We also did several other preventative maintenance fixes for Chris F*

[redacted] was offered rust repairs on the very lower portion of the doors of the truck he purchased, (not "extensive" work and the truck was not a "rust bucket" see attached pictures) he was offered these repairs after already purchasing the truck and it was clear that this would be a paid repair at...

additional cost just like any other customer with a body repair. The price we gave him was a very fair price, keeping in mind that he had just been a customer and purchased the truck. We explained to him that we were a little behind schedule on the cars that were already here and we would not be able to get to his truck until late spring / early summer time. We have two antique cars here currently that are being restored and need to be finished before we could take any addition body work jobs in. He was ok with this at the time. Since then he has contacted us several times for an update, we informed him each time that we were still finishing jobs that were here before him and would give him a call as soon as we were ready to take his truck in. This is standard procedure for any customer wanting work done. All conversations on the phone with [redacted] were friendly and professional. We are still within the timeframe we gave [redacted] and feel that this complaint is an attempt on his behalf to force us into taking his truck in earlier than planned.

Hello. Since I originally made this complaint on 1/2/2017, Chris called right away and paid the bill at the repair shop where the [redacted] was fixed. A few days later, I was able to get out there to [redacted] to pick it up. 2 days after getting it home, it blew a head gasket. It is currently parked in my...

driveway. I told them at this point I want my money back that I have paid them. When I first purchased it, it had to go back to them because of the rust underneath was so severe, it never should had made it to the sale lot. The transmission membrane had a huge hole from the rust. The uv boots are bad, which they never fixed. The rocker panels were made of cardboard. Which  I have physical and electronic pictures I can send if needed. Which he did fix. Anyways, 3 times now I have been inconvenienced since 11/19.  I have paid them over 3000. I am willing to settle for 2500 back AND I will pay to tow it to them in meriden, an hour away. He wont meet me in the middle and said the most he will do is 2000. I dont feel it is right that I should be out 1000 plus towing fees for a vehicle that he never should have sold. I have 2 DCF children that I transport and should have never been in this vehicle. All I want is what is rightfully owed to me. The first week I had it, I had to take for an oil change because the dealer didnt even check the oil, etc. I have also been advised to contact DMV with a complaint on the business. All I am asking for is what I have paid them so far and I can get a reliable vehicle for my family. Right now I am down to 1 vehicle which is a huge inconvenience to my family. Dcf is having to arrange nightly transportation for my daughter as I have to pick my wife up at work. If talking is easier, I can be reached at [redacted]Thanks.

Unfortunately we were not able to help [redacted] Due to she was not forth coming w all of her income.Per her signed original contract and stated income we came up w a down payment that worked for her. When our bank tried to verify her income the company she reported as her current employer...

explained to us she had been terminated a month prior. She then came to us saying she collects unemployment and per her bank statements showing those direct deposits it wasn't enough verified income to complete the original agreed upon contract and unfortunately the down payment had to change. We tried very hard to explain to her she had to be honest about her income so we would be able to help her. She did not want to come forth w her other income that she had told us she is still receiving from an employer to not jeopardize losing the unemployment which just didn't make the numbers work to her liking. It was out of our hands at this point and between her and the bank. We are very sorry we couldn't help her.  Chris F[redacted]###-###-####

Chris at Ride's by Ryans took care of all the issues for the [redacted] for me. He made sure the underbody was fixed, he took care of the calipers for me when it left me stranded, and lastly he took care of the water pump and alternator. Everytime he had to work on the [redacted], he allowed me to take a loaner vehicle so he could take his time and get my [redacted] fixed for me, and I wouldnt be without a vehicle. One time, Chris even drove my [redacted] to my house (an hr away) once it was fixed so I wouldnt have to make another trip to the shop. He has really gone out of his way to help us get the [redacted] into good condition. I have even reached out to him to ask if he would do some additional work, for me and he is happy to assist me with a few extra things I am looking to do. I am glad things turned out the way they did, and I feel like now the kinks are worked out and I will definatly purchase another vehicle feom them.  Thank you for posting this as my reply to the complaint. [redacted]

I'm not sure how to reply to the above message, because it doesn't make any sense. ? No one here ever gave a price over the phone to fix the alternator. We only said we would do it cheap because they purchased the car from us. Also, these messages are coming from Megan Paskov, not the customer who actually purchased the car. His name is [redacted] saucier

Chris did quote me a price. I don't understand why it's a big deal to pay for something they NEVER CHECKED.

To Whom it may concern,
Im writing this letter in regards to a complaint that was levied against Rides by Ryan by [redacted] who put a deposit down on a [redacted] from us.
[redacted] came in on 3/1/2016 and eagerly put a deposit on the [redacted]. She signed all the documents for the bank, the intent to purchase the vehicle, the deposit agreement that stated any deposit or down payment was binding and would not be refunded. She asked if we would hold the car for her while she was able to get the $2500 required by the bank for the down payment. She gave us $800 on 3/1/2016 and told us she’d return later that same week with the remaining $1600 that she would borrow from her grandmother.
She called on 3/4/2016 and told us she wouldn't be able to borrow the money and asked if we would let her pay it off over time. We told her we would be glad to hold the car for her for two weeks while she saved the money. The first payment was made on 3/4/2016 for $130. The second payment was made on 3/11/2016 for $150. She said she’d be in 3/12/2016 to put down more money in cash and let us know when she’d be able to pay the rest of the down payment money as there were only two days left before the agreed upon two weeks was up.
After the payment on 3/11/2016 was made she stopped communicating with us. We attempted to contact her every day for a week with no return call. On approximately 3/20/2016 she called and let us know she had lost her job and demanded the return of the deposit she knew to be non-refundable as per all the paperwork she signed on 3/1/2016 and several signs hanging prominently in our lobby.
We explained to [redacted] that deposits are non-refundable because when she signed papers purchasing the car we stopped showing the car to other prospective buyers, removed the car from our advertising and took out of the front end of our lot. It costs money to re-list the car in our various advertising publications and we had multiple missed opportunities to sell the car to other prospective buyers because we informed them the car was sold as per our agreement with [redacted]. Deposits are non-refundable because of the real costs associated with resisting the vehicle and the opportunity costs associated with lost sales.
Copies of the signed documentation are available upon your request. Thank you for your time and consideration.

This is [redacted] I tried to attach very rude and unprofessional comments you sent to my pregnant fiance [redacted]. Just be a man and pay me at least half. Chris did quote me a price. Then also I wouldn't have my Jeep for at least a day.
I am rejecting this response because:
