Before taking a class with RideSmart, I had never ridden a motorcycle. Understandably I was very nervous on my first day of practical application. I must say from the very start the coaches put you at ease. The lessons start from the very basics and progressively become more difficult while maintaining an element of fun. I loved that the coaches provided valuable input specific to my issues/hardships. I loved that they also emphasized the safety skills needed to survive on the road. The scheduling on their classes made it easy to fit in my busy schedule, and the price is very reasonable with the taught skills, professional input and provided state evaluations. I would highly recommend RideSmart to anyone.A+++++
After too long a break from motorcycle riding I wanted to get my license and return to the road. I felt it best to go through a rider school and take a professional refresher course, be able to test for my license and to use their bikes and equipment. I chose the RideSmart Motorcycle School Basic Riders Course and really enjoyed the experience. I was able to get my motorcycle endorsement and start riding again with a
solid basis of skills.
Now, five years and many happy miles later, I have recently completed their BRC2 course for experience riders.
The BRC2 course is a review of many of the skills I learned in the BRC class, but with additional emphasis on fine tuning your abilities on your own motorcycle. With speeds around 25mph or below, the skills you practice have immediate everyday application as you ride around town, but at the same time can be used at higher speeds – particularly object avoidance, cornering throttle control and emergency braking skills - both in a straight line or in a corner.
It was a fun day of training with a great group of fellow enthusiasts with various motorcycles and backgrounds. There were cruisers, standards and one sport bike ranging in size from 250cc to an 1800cc V-Twin.
Thanks again to [redacted] and [redacted] for the great day of training.
The rider coaches were very professional and made the learning experience fun and safe. I would highly recommend RideSmart!
The class was very productive. I have riding experience but learned a number of new techniques in a short amount of time.
Instructors were very knowledgeable. They answered questions very well, explained procedures very clearly, and provided helpful guidance along the way. Their work is strenuous and tiring. They are great people.
These instructors are talented, demanding, expert, and entertaining. Ridesmart is a great value. They are solely interested in making you a safe rider. Most of the course is spent on the bike learning, not just talking about it. I look forward to the experienced rider course later.
Awesome instructors!! They know what they are teaching and made me feel very comfortable. I had never ridden a motorcycle just a dirt bike every know and then so I was nervous, they made sure you new what you were doing before you got on the bike. The class is fast but so much fun. I enjoyed it a lot and met a lot of nice people in my group who also made me feel comfortable
I was glad to have had the opportunity to take the RideSmart motorcycle training. This course was structured well so that it progressed at a pace to allow us to confidently master the skills required to become motorcycle riders. The first evening there was a blur because it was mostly going through the written requirements and involved every class attendee and by the time we were done it made completing the test a breeze. The fun started the next morning during the ride portion of the training. The process started with the basics and kept us going from very easy rides to more and more difficult ones and through it all we were both pushed and encouraged to go on. Looking back, I had started a little fearful about being a total washout as a bike rider to having so much fun that I just didn't want the training to end. Some items that made this very enjoyable, approachable and knowledgeable teachers, a great group of students that both encouraged and helped each other. The best thing I experience in an adult training situation was when our group clapped after a new rider completed a portion of her training without any issues! That was amazing. I was glad to be a part of that. Thanks RideSmart, this was a unique memory for me.
This program was amazing! It prepared me well for the road and the trainers were incredibly friendly and patient.
This is the second course I have taken. The first one was good until I took this one. This one was so much more beneficial. I have been riding on the back for over 40 years and now want to learn. I came out of this class so much more confident and able to do things I could not prior to the class. The entire process was great. They are not easy on the rules by any means but thier positive encouragement was so appreciated.
I've been riding dirt bikes on and off for 6 years or so now. And I was pretty sure I had the basics down, but I learned a lot from taking the course. If you haven't ridden before or even if you have experience under your belt already, but have yet to get your license you should definitely sign up. Seriously, don't hesitate to do it. It was a lot of fun, the coaches for the school do a great job of handling the class and making things fun. And you'll come away confident in your ability to go out and continue to practice and build your experience riding.
One of the greatest experience of my life, From not knowing how to ride a motorcycle to wanting to ride more and get some more practice is a huge win for both parties, Instuctors always kept it serious fun in my eyes. Cared more about you gaining knowledge and saftey than just showing you the basics. Cant wait to tell my friends.
I had the time of my life. I was veeerryyy nervous, the riding coach was aware and saw that and encouraged me all the way to the end, I made mistakes some I became aware of and some not. But they all took the time to tell me what I was doing well and not so well. If you have a passion for riding I would. Encourage. You not to miss this step. It was information, fun, hard, scary, but it was so worth every minute. Thanks so much for all the personal touches I felt you gave me. Kesha
Absolutely loved them!
Awesome trainers! They are patient and understanding. All of the instructors recognize and act on what you can do to improve on but the key is, they do it in a manner that makes you feel good about the class, your skills and learning! Most of all, they keep it light and fun. I have told others about this class and they want to get a bike now and go to this school! I made a great choice in choosing this school. Thanks guys!
Awesome motorcycle school with an amazing team. They teach you all the necessary basic skills for both the first time rider and improving skills for those who already have been riding. They make sure you do it right the first time so that when something does happen you know what to do and how to react.
I just finished my motorcycle training with Ride Smart yesterday and was very pleased with my training. All the coaches gave awesome and valuable instruction. Would highly recommend anyone to this school. Today I went to the DMV and got my Motorcycle endorsement so now I'm legal to drive. Again, thanks to all the coaches and staff for a job well done. I had so much fun re-learning how to drive a bike after 30 years of not being on one.
Very professional and ethical.
Ridesmart Motorcycle Training exceeded my expectations in every aspect. They treated everyone with courtesy and respect and helped everode to learn and apply the subject matter covered. Excellent course!
I had not been on a motorcycle for 30+ years and wanted to get the license. Researched all the training facilities and found this one to be the least expensive. Don't let the price fool you, instructors are expertly train to provide you with instruction used by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Hands on experience to acquire the skills for a Motorcycle endorsement. The training consisted of classroom, and on the motorcycle. Providing you with enough information to operate your motorcycle and focus on safe operation. Almost forgot they were fun, smiles had a really great experience as you will to!
