Review: Ridge Line Builders constructed a sunroom addition on the back of our house which was to be heated and cooled by a [redacted] pump/ ac unit. After having some problems with the ac in 95 and humid conditions we experienced more problems when we switched to the heat mode in Oct/Nov. I contacted Ridge Line Builders and received no response by phone. I then called the rep. from the company the unit was purchased ([redacted]) and they informed me that the unit was too small to properly heat or cool the room. I notified Ridge Line Builders and received a response that he didn't know that much about it and I was to contact my personal HV/AC tech. I called Ridge Line Builders again and was told to call the tech for [redacted] and explain what the problems were. I did so and was told by the [redacted] tech that the unit was too small. I again contacted Ridge Line Builders and informed them of the findings of the [redacted] tech. I was advised that the upgrade to a 9,000 BTU unit was the best they could do with the installed 20 amp breaker. I asked Ridge Line Builders to verify with the [redacted] tech that this unit was the only option and would properly heat and cool the room. Ridge Line Builders refused to verify. I have since called the [redacted] tech myself and as per his suggestion had a load assessment done. Both confirm that the 9,000 BTU to replace the 7,000 Btu unit in place now is the best we can do with the present wiring. I agreed to the 9,000 BTU unit to replace the 7,000 BTu unit both by phone and by email. Ridge Line Builders sent by email a response on Nov. 13 stating that they would order the 9,000 BTU unit the next day (Nov. 14) the order was never placed and Ridge Line Builders has failed to answer by email or phone.Desired Settlement: The 9,000 BTU [redacted] pump/ac unit to replace the 7,000 BTU unit in place. Confirmation that the unit has been ordered and an estimate on delivery and installation.
