My family and I moved in the property on March 29, 2013. A air condition unit was supposed to be installed but it has not been installed.A deposit was put down on the property on March 4,2014 and it was agreed that my family would move in on March 29, 2014. We were told a lot of lies. My family was told that the interior of the home would be painted and cleaned. It was trash inside and outside the home and we were told that it would be cleaned up. It was not a air condition unit at the home and we were told told that one would be installed when we move in the home. The home was not painted as promised and it was not clean. Trash was left outside the home. An air condition unit has still not been installed as promised. It is 81 degreess inside the home. I informed the manager that have three children and two have asthma and cannot live in these conditions and the unit has still not been installed.Desired SettlementA air condition unit need to be installed ASAP. My husband removed some of the trash and the carpets need to be cleaned by a professional. The reason it took longer than expected was due to the weather. We at Ridgelake did not make any of other promises to the tenant. I believe they are happy tenants now. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The air conditioner unit was installed, but promises were made before we moved into the property. We were promised that the home would be clean and the carpets would be professionally cleaned and they were not. Nothing was clean when we moved into the home. It is a broken window in the home that Ridgelake stated would be fixed and it still has not gotten fixed. We were not treated in a professional manner. Final Business Response Ridgelake Property management is hired to manage this home. We had an estimate to do all this work BEFORE the tenants moved into this home. The home owner refused to do the work we had suggested and had a different set of things done to the home. We could not go against his/her wished due to the fact it is NOT our home and they make all their own decisions. I have spoken with the tenants to let them know also that we had nothing to do with the outcome of this situation and we would love to help them with anything we could in the future when it arises.
