I am rejecting this response because:Once again, as I stated previously - Ridgeview NEVER offered to come back and complete the work, nor do anytype of inspection of the work. Once they received the second check, they went MIA. They simply took the money and left without any regard to completing anything. They left trash and materials on site and disappeared. Their repsonses to you have been complete lies. I have spoken to my insurance agent since Ridgeview walked away, and he has never heard from them.This company should not be trusted. They have cost me over $4000. I have had to take money out of my pocket to complete work they were paid to do. Yet they continue to lie and refuse to return the money they stole

We have worked with *** to the best of our ability to meet his needs in a timely manorHowever the unforeseen and underlying structural issues that were uncovered as the demolition was started and completed are quite concerning from all standpoints. We addressed the first structural
issues regarding the collapsing roof structure with *** immediately . This is where the Change Order of $came into playAfter this issue was repaired, we continued with the demolition of the entire remaining interiorAfter removing everything from inside the structure it was determined by us and as well by our architects and engineers that this structure has been illegally added on to over times throughout the last centuryThis was the cause of many Stuctural deficiencies as these "additions" we done by multiple homeowners and not to Code. Going back to the beginning inspection with ***, *** *** our Project Superintendent could only see limited structure/framing as the walls were still in Plaster finist was at this point in time his opinion was that it would cost in the range of 70k to upwards of 100k for the entire project*** stated that he didn't have that amount and asked what approximately could be finished for 30kWe gave him a R.O.M. (Rough Order of Magnitude) number of 30k and began workAs we were able to get into the basement we found what we believed to be the remnants of an abandoned Methamphetamine Lab, which caused some delay due to the Jackson Co Drug Taskforce Units as well as KCPD and KCFD as well as several other agencies conducting their investigationsAfter they cleared the scene and deemed it safe we went back to work*** believed that we called the police on him which was NOT the caseWe were protecting the heath and safety of our employees, subcontractors as well as the neighbors of this residenceIt was at this point that *** changed the locks on the home and still has not provide us with a key for construction access Finally , we had an Architect come in to meet with us and *** to discuss the structural issues throughout this house and have yet to receive a copy from *** of the prescribed repairs or modifications to be performed. Attached is a invoice of work performed to date that is deducted out of his $20,Deposit

Ridgeview did offer to go back and inspect the work that had been completed. We also contacted the adjuster assigned to the claim and he was willing to meet us at the customers house to confirm that the portion of the claim to be completed by us had been done satisfactorily. The only response that we received back was that the customer would send us pictures of what she considered not completedShe has since not contacted us with any response as to when we could visit the property again. We sent a representative to remove any materials/trash, there were no apparent materials or trash left by our company, and no one was home to ask about removal of them

I have the copy of the contract stating how much should be spent on each stageAfter partially removing the debris from the house, and uncovering the hidden space, *** convinced me that the house was ready for electrical and plumbing The first installment was of $which was supposed to cover demolition and framing, the second installment was for electrical and plumbing*** inspected the house after the demolition, and confirm to me that framing will be completed in few days and plumbing and electrical will be done the following week that I should be prepared for the third installmentAt this point *** check all the parts of the house that needed to be fixed before proceeding and the only place where issues was found was the rafters and the additional room*** inspected the basement more than five times, and never noticed that there was structural issues*** called the police without informing the owner of the property about the claimed meth lab in the basement which was not even trueThis was one of the excuses that he stopped the project until the house is inspectedFortunately, there was nothing foundI will also attach the police report to this emailIt took months again before *** could come back with the idea of the ArchitectureIn my understanding before asking for the money of electrical and plumbing a reasonable builder should consult with the architecture first which is something that *** ignored until he found no any other excuse for dragging his feet on my projectThe project for days took close to monthsI felt so confident and believed in ***The second installment was given to *** sometimes in April, It was not until June before *** could send his worker to my propertyI called and pushed me so many times, before he could partially remove the debris from the demolitionI have the picture of the debris that are currently left in the storage and outside the houseTechnically speaking, *** ***, should have at least $unused money after all the expensesI do not understand how the money intended for electrical and plumbing was supposedly used without my concernIt is until I asked *** to give me the Back the electrical and plumbing installment then *** found a way to include it in the expended amountThis is purely dishonesty and crookedness The house is as it is right now, and you *** need to show me how $was just spent in partial demolition and a rough framing of the master bedroom which is not even completedI regret if this how this person has been making a living on the expense of other peopleAll I am Asking is to complete the demolition, and remove all the debris inside and outside the house since this has been paid for and return the money for electrical and plumbing after deducting the architectural expensePlease see attached document for reference.

Ridgeview Restoration agreed to complete this job per the insurance scope for the insurance proceeds.  We collected part of the insurance proceeds from the customer and completed all but one portion of the claim, which the customer opted not to have done after the money was...

collected..  Everything else was completed per the insurance scope.   Part of the proceeds paid to Ridgeview Restoration was allotted for the portion not completed.  We are refunding the customer this portion of the proceeds.  The insurance company has not paid this customer in full yet.  She is due the last portion of the claim.  We are not trying to collect any proceeds for work not completed by us.   The owner of our company is willing to look at the job again and offered to do so.  The customer said she would send pictures, but didn't state when the owner could go back to inspect the work.   Ridgeview Restoration has sent a representative out to pick up any trash or extra material that was mistakenly left.
