Review: Today, I visited the [redacted] branch of this bank. I presented the bank with a properly executed Power of Attorney for my domestic partner who is in the [redacted] of a hospital. The attorneys for the bank refused to allow the manager to authorize my requested transaction because the POW was executed in 2009 and [redacted] created a newer designer form in 2010. My partner is not in any condition to complete a new form. So, who gets to keep the small amount of money in his account? Ridgewood? How am I supposed to handle his financial affairs with this stupid policy that they insist on requiring. This bait and switch is dishonest and unconscionable!Desired Settlement: Allow me to use the POW as it was designed and legally created in 2009!!!
