Ridgewood Taxi & Limousine

Review: We hired Ridgewood Taxi to pick our family up at the airport on Sunday 5/11/14. We met the driver at 8:20 pm. As we were entering the vehicle we noticed that there was not a car seat in the car. (We had asked for one at the time we booked the transportation. Ridgewood taxi had also provided our transportation to the airport a week prior and provided the car seat as asked.) When I asked the driver, [redacted], where the car seat was he stated he was not told to bring one. The driver called the office and advised us that someone would be bringing a car seat to the airport. At 8:23 I called the company and asked how long we would have to wait. The dispatcher told me someone would be there in 35 or 40 minutes. At 8:35 I called the company to find out if the driver had left and the dispatched advised us that he had not yet found a driver to bring the seat down. There were 5 of us in total, Four adults and one child. We were told that the car brining the seat down would not fit all five of us and as one of the adults was not feeling the diver took two adults with him and left the airport. My wife, our daughter and I continued to wait for the car to meet us and bring us home. I again decided to reach out to the company at 8:46 to see were the driver was and was again advised they were still trying to find someone. The dispatcher expressed his apologies and advised the rate of $135.00 would be discounted. The driver finally showed up at 9:25. (A little over an hour after we had first called them). I would have accepted this and moved on however after we got home we were told by the family members who took the first car home that the driver charged them the full price. I called the company Monday morning at 8:58 am, advised them of the situation and was told that a manager would call me back. I was not called back and again reached out to them on Wednesday. I was again advised the manager, [redacted] would be in at 3:00 and would call me when she got there. It is now Friday and I have not heard back from them. I was not happy but ok with accepting the discount and moving on. However the company did not hold up there end and are at this point ignoring my calls. I am now asking for a full refund of the $135.00. They were contracted to pick our family up at a certain time with a car seat. The failed to do this and I have now waited a week for someone to call me back.
