I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The builder has not offered a solution to the problem He does not address the fact that the storm door cannot be opened easily and removing the weather stripping is not an acceptable resolution as it leaves a gap between the bottom of the door and the threshold where air and insects can get into the house - using a draft dodger creates a tripping hazard ( I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and am years old - sorry for the personal information but it is pertinent to the problem) It is not practical to have a mat inside the house - this will bring snow into the home This design flaw was never agreed to by me When I agreed to leave the old porch in place - the builder assured me that there would be no problems by leaving the porch in place At the time the decision was made, I told the builder that I was willing to pay for the removal of the old porch It is my understanding that "standard practice" is to leave a inch "step up" into the house Regards, [redacted] ***
