Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] After review of the documents submitted by the business, I still don't see where it states in writing that my deposit can be used in full only if I order all of the cabinets he designed on the plansThe pur [redacted] I was going to make from R [redacted] was still substantial enough and it's not like I was looking To gain something for nothingIt seems like I'm the only one attempting to resolve the matter by giving a little while their position remains unchanged I have my father staying with me at this time and he said that as long as Reimer can honor the original prices written on the contract, and that my $is used in full- that he would give me the money to order the Entire Crystal Cabinets set that was designed on the plans In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

I am attaching a series of documents to this email in support of our original response on January *** We are a small company, in business since When someone contacts us we let them know about our professional services policy, and at our first meeting they are given a copy of that form We do not ask for any fees until after our second meeting, at which time it would be for continued professional services Please review the attached documents and note that as long ago as July of [redacted] indicated that she understood the terms of the professional services policy Thank you for your attention Sincerely, Ruth R [redacted] Ruth R [redacted] R [redacted] Kitchens & Fine Cabinetry, LLC [redacted] ***

[redacted] first contacted us to design and supply cabinetry for her kitchen remodel on By she gave us a $non-refundable design fee (*) and was provided with our work productOn we entered into a good faith contract (*) with [redacted] , revised her plans and emailed them to her.By June 8th we learned she could not pay per our contractIn an effort to accommodate her we offered a payment schedule (not our standard policy) or a $partial refund (converting the design fee to a discounted professional consultation fee) to help her outA month later [redacted] said she would wait to the following summer to do the kitchen, applying the design fee at that time.We were next contacted on when [redacted] asked for the price of island cabinets (a portion of the project) as the first part of the entire kitchen remodelTrying to accommodate her, we gave her pricing which included a credit of a percentage of the design fee ($720)Again, not our standard policyOver the next weeks we continued to offer the original $refund; her response was to ask for other pricing and for services we do not provideOur last email to her was 117.We have been in business for yearsOur policies are simple and straight forwardIt is our contention that [redacted] should not have signed a contract, nor pur***d our work product, if she did not have a way to pay for itWe have gone out of our way to make accommodation to her financial situation, which we didn't have to doWe offered a partial refund of a non-refundable design fee, which we didn't have to do; she has our designs. At this point we cannot trust that we would have a good working relationship with [redacted] , and as a result will not order or supply any materials going forwardOnce again, we are offering a $partial refund of the non-refundable design fee, converting it to a discounted professional consultation fee, to amicably end this issue.Note: (*) refers to papers we will provide to the Revdex.com if requested

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here] I was still willing to make a substantial pur*** from them (a kitchen island) and *** *** would only apply a portion of the deposit as opposed to the entire deposit It is true that he made a design of the ideal kitchen, but he didn't verbally inform me and no paper I signed said that I HAD to remodel the ENTIRE kitchen in order to make use of my $deposit In fact during the meeting he took the said $deposit he said that it is not unusual for the customer to change the design several times to fit budget/aesthetic preference before final order In addition, I have no use for his design and if he wants it back I will gladly return it I just want my hard earned money applied in full to the island pur***, and not an applied portion or a $refund to shut me up It is unjust that he keep my money because he is not getting what he feels he wantsI look forward to your help in solving this problem Thank you Lore Pereira

[redacted] first contacted us to design and supply cabinetry for her kitchen remodel on 4/**/16. By 5/*/16 we had informed her that we could not work within her budget and in fact the cost would be double her budget. With this knowledge, on 5/**/16 she gave us a $2500 non-refundable design fee (*)...

and was provided with our work product. On 5/**/16 we entered into a good faith contract (*) with [redacted], revised her plans and emailed them to her.By June 8th we learned she could not pay per our contract. In an effort to accommodate her we offered a payment schedule (not our standard policy) or a $750 partial refund (converting the design fee to a discounted professional consultation fee) to help her out. A month later [redacted] said she would wait to the following summer to do the kitchen, applying the design fee at that time.We were next contacted on 12/**/16 when [redacted] asked for the price of island cabinets (a portion of the project) as the first part of the entire kitchen remodel. Trying to accommodate her, we gave her pricing which included a credit of a percentage of the design fee ($720). Again, not our standard policy. Over the next weeks we continued to offer the original $750 refund; her response was to ask for other pricing and for services we do not provide. Our last email to her was 1/**/17.We have been in business for 39 years. Our policies are simple and straight forward. It is our contention that [redacted] should not have signed a contract, nor pur[redacted]d our work product, if she did not have a way to pay for it. We have gone out of our way to make accommodation to her financial situation, which we didn't have to do. We offered a partial refund of a non-refundable design fee, which we didn't have to do; she has our designs. At this point we cannot trust that we would have a good working relationship with [redacted], and as a result will not order or supply any materials going forward. Once again, we are offering a $750 partial refund of the non-refundable design fee, converting it to a discounted professional consultation fee, to amicably end this issue.Note: (*) refers to papers we will provide to the Revdex.com if requested.

After review of the documents submitted by the business, I still don't see where it states in writing that my deposit can be used in full only if I  order all of the cabinets he designed on the plans. The pur[redacted] I was going to make from R[redacted] was still substantial enough and it's not like I was looking To gain something for nothing. It seems like I'm  the only one attempting to resolve the matter by giving a little while their position remains unchanged.  I have my father staying with me at this time and he said that as long as Reimer can honor the original prices written on the contract, and that my $2500 is used in full- that he would give me the money to order the Entire Crystal Cabinets set that was designed on the plans.
