Review: On March **, 2013 we hired Right Angle Inc ([redacted]) to repair/renovate our home after Hurricane Sandy made it unlivable. On October **, 2013, after we asked why no one was showing up at our home to work for weeks at a time, he emailed us telling us he wouldn't be back to finish the job, he was going to be filing for bankruptcy. At that time, after 6 1/2 months of Right Angle Inc working at our home, not one room was usable!

We eventually found another contractor that was willing to pick up where Right Angle Inc left off, but as we continued making the repairs and renovations to our home, we realized that most of the work that Right Angle Inc had done, was done poorly or incorrectly. The new roof and 2 of the 3 skylights that were purchased and installed by Right Angle leaked, resulting in us having to hire a roofer to install another whole new roof and 2 new skylights. Our troubles didn't end there. Windows that Right Angle had installed were damaged and had to be replaced. The custom sliding mirrored closet doors in our master bedroom, that Right Angle fabricated and installed, all warped and buckled. We had to replace them with new sliding doors, which meant we were forced to modify the closet as well. The custom storage cabinet doors above the master bedroom closet, which Right Angle also fabricated have been cracking and still do not close. The oak floor that Right Angle installed in our bedroom, is loose and I'm still tripping over the raised edges. They also sanded my oak floors down so many times (to make it look as if work was getting done, when no skilled labor was showing up for weeks at a time) ruining the life of my floor and leaving the nail heads exposed. The bi-fold doors to the laundry area that Right Angle installed had to be replaced because they didn't function (including one door that [redacted] took from the job site to repair and never returned) And a step had to be installed so I could access the washing machine and dryer. All the interior painting was done poorly as well, it was done by unskilled labor, and it all had to be redone. The outside railings had to be replaced because they were improperly installed and were very loose and dangerous.

Our biggest concern till this day though, is the attic that Right Angle Inc built for us, it is collapsing!! We have been supporting it with some wood ourselves, until we can save enough money to repair this as well. This has been a total nightmare.Desired Settlement: We paid Right Angle Inc a total of $70,740 towards a contract that they never completed. Right Angle Inc. walked off the job, leaving us with a mess and no place to live. We want to be refunded for the work that we paid for, that was either never done, or had to be redone because it was done improperly by Right Angle Inc. and for the additional 6 months of rent this nightmare caused us.

After going through the contract and bills, the total that Right Angle Inc. needs to refund us is: $ 49,722.50
