This company was hired by our home warranty company to repair a leak that was coming from one of two upstairs bathrooms. One of their plumbers showed up and determined that the leak was not coming from the master bedroom shower but the other bathroom. He stated that he fixed the leak (when all he did was look around the floor and walk out). Two days later there was water leaking from the ceiling and spots of mole on the ceiling. We had to call our home warranty company back who then scheduled for this same company to come back. He fixed the leak which was coming from the toilet. My question to this company is why didn't he fix the leak the 1st time he came? Lastly, he wanted to charge additionally money to cut a hole in the ceiling to see why the leak was. We already paid the deductible why are you asking for us to pay more money when you should have addressed this problem the first time you came out. This company's actions led to farther damage of the downstairs ceiling. We have filed a complaint with the home warranty company as well so no other family have to experience this unprofessional, unreliable company.
I am responding to the complaint from the home owner at ***, XXXXX. We recieved this service job from the warranty company they have purchased for their home and were on-site to diagnose the issue they were having on 09/23/2019. We found a leaking tank to bowl kit and flush valve on the upstairs hall bath toilet and made repairs same day. We found no further leaks at that time. The customer called their warrnaty company back on 09/27/2019 stating there was still a leak occuring and we recieved a new work service ticket. We schedueled and arrived to return visit on 09/30/2019 and found there was still a leak and advised to be sure of where leak is coming from we would need to cut a hole in sheetrock which the warranty company does not pay for. Customer cut the hole for us and we found the wax ring leaking which we replaced it same day.
Synopsis:
We did find and repair a leak the sameday when we serviced the customer on 9/23/2019. At that point no other leaks were found. 7 days later we were called back out and realized it was more to the leak than what was already repaired and found and repaired that leak sameday.
Above and beyond service for this first time customer. Called on the start of a long holiday weekend, spoke directly with the owner, and he was at our house within the hour with everything he needed to fix an emergency plumbing issue. Twenty minutes later we had water again. Honest, friendly, hard-working, quick, and very reasonable. I'd highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer. My home warranty company sent them for a plumbing stoppage issue that I had reportedThe technician as soon as he arrived was only interested in trying to find some other cause for the issue which would not be covered in my home warranty and then tried to bill me directly for thatIt was a plumbing stoppage issue and he tried to blame the pdrain and the faucet for thatHe also blamed faulty plumbing work by the builder and said he will have to modify and cut the pipe here and there and re-route it etc However he put different things on the service report back to home warranty company when he realized that I was not agreeing to his "sell"They tool 75/- from me and promised to come back and get the repair approved and fix the issueHowever they never came back and never even calle
