I, *** ***, spoke with this customer prior to the job being doneCustomer stated he wanted Prema Liner done for this projectThis type of job would have then needed to be financed due to the large costI disclosed this to the customer
The company that we had to go through also stated that they would have to charge my company an additional 10% to do this which we were unaware ofSo I then told the customer that I would have to in turn charge him the additional 10% thenThat is when the customer decided to go the cheaper route and not use Prema Liner after allWe did discuss the warranty on the Prema Liner as wellI did make the mistake on saying that there was a lifetime warranty on the Prema Liner because there was but it had just changed to a year warranty as apposite to a lifetime warrantyUnfortunately I was unaware of the change until it was brought my attention and that is when I confirmed that it had changed to a year warrantyThough this did not matter anyways because the customer chose not to go with the Prema Liner.This is what the invoice states for the work that we ended up performing for the customer
"Cost to replace up to 30' of sewer main with 4" abs pipe (does not include under mining sidewalk) and two way clean outTrench pipe up to 5' deep, compact and backfill trench with native soilyear warranty on new pipe installedNo charge to warthog sewer pipe to remove roots."
As for the customer wanting the invoice corrected, there is no need to correct the invoice due to the fact that the Prema Liner was never done on this projectThe invoice needs to remain the same since what is stated on the invoice is what was actually done on the jobAs for the roots on top of the pipe not being removed, unfortunately I cannot stock all my vans with chainsaws and jackhammers when they are currently stocked with all plumbing materials and toolsWe do apologize for ***'s behavior and we have taken it upon ourselves to take further disciplinary action
