DECORS still doesn't acknowledge the lack of quality that his workman provided and the inconvenience that was put on me to rectify that work I will not pay the full amount period I have set my terms which I believe to be more than fair If DECORS admits to their lack of oversight and agrees to the payment I have stated this will all go away I will continue to dispute *** based on this

I am rejecting this response because [redacted] has signed a contract with DECORS stating that he was informed how much the total of the job assignment was going to cost and a certain amount was to be charged to his credit card and would be AUTHORIZED WITHOUT his consent. The payments were already discussed and explained to [redacted] with his satisfaction, comfort, and content. As stated in the previous response, if [redacted] decides to agree to end this issue we will be gladly to pay his bill of $90 for the alarm system, once, the $1,038 is paid and the $890 is approved by [redacted]. [redacted], I would appreciate if we can resolve this matter with the agreement that we had originally agreed on before the job was done. In all honesty, the $890 that [redacted] is paying is a steal because this is for the Electric, Plumbing, and Backsplash. [redacted] was given a good price because he helped with the counter top. A company will never discount [redacted], such as, the way we did. Our prices are very reasonable to our customers.  If not, [redacted] should be contacting [redacted] because we are providing all the paperwork/proof to [redacted], because the fact is you received the dispute because we did not provide the paperwork on time to [redacted].

I am rejecting this response because:
I am tired of the half truths and lies that DECORS is writing.  I have expressed my disatisfaction with the quality of the workmanship and the lack of ownership of the problem that DECORS exhibited throughout this ordeal.  My final offer is this:  The $1,038 charge that we disputed has been accepted by [redacted] as indicated by DECORS.  They successfully put through the labor charge of $890 THAT WAS NOT AUTHORIZED BY ME,  so this is what I want.  I feel it is fair that half of the $890 should not be paid by us due to the aforementioned poor workmanship, the lack of oversight by DECORS and pictures documenting it.  Here is my settlement:$1,038 less 445 (50% of 890) less 90 (alarm system repair) = $503.  We will agree to pay that amount to stop this nonsense.  If DECORS agrees to this we can close this case down.

This is in regards to [redacted] contract disputes. Mr. [redacted] signed a contract with us to have his counter and backsplash replaced for less than $3000 for 22sq. ft. in which clearly we said it was an “estimate”. When we sent one of our guys to measure it was 42 sq. ft. In the first place, we...

contacted Mr. [redacted] letting him know the changes that is to be made, not to mention he approved the changes by email. We also told him his deposit could be used towards anything else or refund his money if he disagreed for the extra sq. ft. since we have not yet started the job. There is no way to find a countertop 42 sq. ft. in one piece, it would be impossible. Once the countertop was installed he signed it approving that he likes the job that was done and that it is in good condition. Additionally, in reference to this alarm system our guy cut out the system, we did offer Mr. [redacted] the $90. To summarize, Mr. [redacted] started disputing the charge we didn’t give him the money for his alarm system. In regards to the backsplash our tile guy installed the backsplash but the customer didn’t like the finish. Not to mention, our team went of our way to make our customer happy and satisfied with our work. We called him and he would never respond for their appointment in which is the reason it took 2 weeks. He wanted our tile guy to go at 6:30 pm which are after work hours, in which he did until the job was finished. By all means, we tried to do anything possible to accommodate our customer. The customer now wants to dispute the $950 after we did the job for him and we made sure that we did everything to his accommodation as has been noted.
