I was told by RIII it takes the IRS three weeks once they receive my tax returnThis is truthful and is verifiable by looking at the IRS site, as RIII statesWhat they neglected to address is that after three weeks after my appointment with RIII my taxes had still not been filed with the IRSIt said so on the IRS website and I spent an hour on hold waiting to speak with someone at the IRS who then verified that they had not received my tax filing from RIIIThe woman I spoke with said that some returns were taking longer than others, but that if my taxes had been filed by my preparer then there would be a receipt in the system after days and there was no receiptThis is when I started calling RIII, not because I was in a huge hurry to get the money, but because I wanted to make sure my return had been filed RIII DID NOT return my phone callsI called both inside and outside of business hours attempting to reach themI have my phone records to show that RIII is not being truthful in saying I called outside business hoursI am attaching a picture of one day of my calls as proofIn the first call at 7:52am I left a detailed minute messageIn the second call at 2:47pm on this same day it shows a minute call where I left another messageThese calls were not returnedPhone calls the following Monday and Wednesday were not returned as wellI did not have any information on my tax filing status for another two weeks after these calls, when the IRS website said they had then received my filing and subsequently issued my refund Many people had this same issue with RIIIThis is verifiable by checking their Facebook pageAll anyone wanted was information on their return and some accountability and honesty from RIIII did not receive those things and I still haven'tRIII is correct that they are a tax preparer and that is allThey have one jobPrepare the taxes and submit them in a timely mannerThey did not do this and they continue to be dishonest (as my phone records show) and continue to deflect responsibility
