I have repeatedly called Rickard and sons about my vent pipe. Mr Rickard told me he would be out to look at it first of the week. I paid to have them install a furnace and vent pipe at the beginning of winter. I had just spent 5.000 on a new metal roof. The tar has melted that they sealed the vent with. Resolution is that need to fix this. It has run down two sheets of metal even though the vent came up through one sheet. They cot a little carried away with the stuff. I have sent pictures and been told they have never had this problem. I called back after not hearing anything from them for three weeks and was hung up on. The company that had put my new new central air in last summer had to come out and fill up my freon because they had let it all out when they connected everything by not braising connection correctly. They did it for me and didn't charge me for filling back up braising the connection or a device call because they recommended this company. The same one you have rated a plus. We purchased an evaporator coil in March 2014 and discovered in June that they gave us the wrong size evaporator coil which ended in failure. They told us to purchase a replacement coil and when we brought the original coil back they would issue a credit. This has been done and they still have not refunded our money. When we call we are told we have to speak with [redacted] We have made multiple attempts to have our money refunded and [redacted] never makes herself available to us.Desired SettlementWe would like our total money refunded.Business Response Our written records show the company purchased a 3 ton coil in March, 2014. June, 2014 we were told the coil had a leak. June 26, 2014 the coil was brought back. A 4 ton coil was purchased. No refund was given at this time. The company told us we made a mistake giving them a 3 ton in March that they thought they were getting a 4 ton coil. We informed the customer that a refund would be given when the warranty gave us a refund. In the meantime, our customer had to pay for both coils with the understanding that they would receive a refund when the warranty paid for it. We received a credit for the refund from our vendor on Sept 19 and received notice of the refund on Sept 25. On Sept 25, the customer was called to inform them that a refund check for the original invoice amount in full was going out in the mail the same day.
