Riki Restaurant

Review: I had lunch at Restaurant Riki on December **, 2014 with my colleague. The bill (one bill for my colleague and I) came to $28. We had ordered the same dish, which was $14 each. I had paid the $28 bill with my Visa credit card. There is no tip policy at this restaurant, so I did not leave a tip. In January, I received my credit card bill, which included the bill for my lunch at Riki for $28. Also included in my credit card bill was $30.40 - also from Riki, with the same transaction date of December **, 2014. Since I believed it was clearly a mischarge on my credit card for another person's meal, I called Riki immediately mid January to ask for a refund. A man at Riki answered the phone. Before I finished explaining what happened, the man said that these sort of problems occur, where they mistakenly charge a credit card, but that it has been credited back to my account. He did not even let me give him my information (such as name, date of dining, the amount, etc.) He said that the credit takes a month to process, and to wait until the end of January. He said if the amount is not credited back, then to come to the restaurant. January [redacted] came, which is a month since I dined at Riki, there was no credit from Riki on my credit card statement. I went to the restaurant at the beginning of February, with a print out of credit card statement and the receipt from the restaurant. The man, who is probably the man who answered my call in January was there. I tried to show him the receipt, and explain the situation, and before I finished explaining, he immediately said the same thing he said on the phone. When I said that it was not credited in one month, he said that it may take two months. It's the end of February and I still see no credit from Riki. It is not right to be charged for a stranger's meal on my credit card, and the restaurant needs to correct its mistake.Desired Settlement: Refund of $30.40
