Our repair department did perform repairs on Ms. ***'s 1991 Chevrolet Caprice. One of the items was to replace one tire on her vehicle. The tire was of a size that would not fit on our tire mount machine and required sending it out to another shop to have it mounted on the rim. We did have a... communication breakdown between our technician and service manager as each thought the other has sent the tire out and the error was not found until after the customer left with the vehicle and called back. We requested the customer bring the vehicle back immediately so that we could take care of the issue, which they did. There was no damage to the rim. We sent the rim and new tire to the other shop, had it mounted and then installed the new tire on the vehicle. The Service Manager had already discounted the entire repair bill by $200.00. She expressed her displeasure and spoke with out General Manager who then offered to discount the bill another $150.00 for her inconvenience but she said it wasn't acceptable and she wanted the entire bill paid for. We accepted responsibility for our oversight, took the measures to correct it and feel we were fair in our accommodation of her inconvenience. We don't feel we should have to be responsible for the repairs that were performed and not associated with the tire replacement.

I am rejecting this response because:Yes Riley Chevrolet called two days after the u-joint was repairedYes the truck is not wobbling at this timeThis truck has been in the shop 20+times for recalls and mechanical failures since it was first madeIt's been in the shop times since we've purchased it from Riley ChevroletNot one repair or recall is shown on the car faxYes the truck is not wobbling as of yetWhat do we do when this truck has another mechanical failure as it has done every other month since we purchased it? Riley put their name on the back of this truck, now stand behind itYes you called to see how this repair went because we got the Revdex.com involvedWhat do we do in two weeks when another mechanical failure comes up and your running us out of our warrantyI have documents that shows this truck has serious issuesOne from your service department that shows one recall that had to be redoneWhich was omitted from *** when it was done the first timeI sincerely hope that this truck has no more problems as my family has to use it for their only transportationI am not confident that that is the way it will be from its past historyI don't want this truck hurting my family or anyone's family when it has its next mechanical failureWith Riley Chevrolet's name on the back of it I would think you would feel the same way

We followwith *** *** a couple of days ago to have him come in and for us to do a test drive to see what the problem was. *** ***, our Service Manager, called Mr*** and was told by Mr*** that the shaking had stopped. The service repair which we had done
earlier must have fixed the problem. Mr*** seemed satisfied with his car at this time
