First impression do matter when I hired Paul of Greensmith Land Management in April of After talking to different companies, Paul was the only one ready to go to work when he came out of his vehicle with pen and paper in handUnlike others who tell you what they want done instead of what their customers wantPaul and his crew did a fantastic job installing a pad for our new home to be built onInitial plan was to put 4-foot of dirt, but the builder cut it down to Paul's crew did an amazing job compacting the dirt to meet the builder's requirementHis crew impressed me also when I went to check their work the following day and saw them digging trenches to install silt fence even when it was raining hardI didn't expect anyone would be working in that weather conditionThe construction completion was delayed by months (Oct2016), and Paul was very understanding and didn't have a problem completing the final grading when it was needed to be done so construction wouldn't stallThey always showed up when they said they would and on time! They impressed me a lot so I didn't have a second thought of hiring them again to put sod around our new home and septic tank moundHis crew did exactly what I want, and even did me a favor cutting down an unwanted treeWill definitely recommend them, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire Paul and his crew of Greensmith Land Management in the future

OK, now for the long version we just finished building our custom home and I started looking for a land management company months ago I met with companies back in July and although each had qualities I liked, they each had qualities I didn't like As I was about to settle and make a decision, I noticed our neighbors had a Land Management company clearing trees and building a fence I was outside with my son and we ended up talking to their crew for a few minutes These guys appeared to be professionals and they made a great first impression I could tell they took pride in their work and enjoyed working for Paul so I asked them to have Paul contact me
I am a very demanding but fair customer and I was up front with Paul about this along with the fact that I had already met with other companies Paul was respectful of this and from the beginning he gave me his word that I would not be disappointed with him and his crew and that he would do whatever was necessary within reason to earn our business and my trust
Paul is very organized when it comes to putting together complex proposals which helped as we went through several revisions He did a great job putting together a 3D color design of our project which helped us visualize what he had designed for us
One of the selling points for Greensmith was the fact that they could handle all of my land management requirements, however I was skeptical that they were perhaps a great fence company but a mediocre landscaping company I can tell you that is not the case Paul and his crew turned out to be experts in every area of his business and because of this, Paul was able to come up with an overall design that fit our house perfectly and looks amazing
Back to me being a demanding but fair customer our job was big, so understandably it took some time to complete Paul let me know up front that he would be flexible if changes came up during the project and he told me to expect some changes as once you see the project come to life you will have new ideas During the job we changed our fence design (a couple times), decided to clear more trees which resulted in another irrigation zone, decided to add several trees, plus several smaller changes Paul worked closely with me on every change throughout the project and was up front about the impact to the price and timeline (he still finished ahead of schedule)
My first impression of Paul's crew was spot on I worked on a few projects myself as our house was being built so I was onsite several days as his crew was working I got to know his employees and they are all hard working, respectful, and know what they are doing
Finally I need to mention how easy it has been to stay in contact with Paul I'm not sure how he does it, but Paul always responded to me anytime I had a question (and I had a lot) Whether I called, emailed or texted, Paul was available and responded immediately

I purchased a double wide with 10 acres in Fountain, Florida in 2012 and it was badly overgrown. I had about 4 acres that needed to be cleared out / cut down so I could fence off a few acres. Much of the growth was too large / dense for brush hogging so went with Greensmith Land Management. I was very impressed with the final results, the cost, and their timeliness. I would not hesitate to refer them or call them again.
