Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because :I did not breach contractAll the siding has not been removed as claimed by RR ,if RR did their job like a General Contractor should they would know thisNew moisture wrap isn't on the total house obviously because all the siding hasn't been removed, as RR has claimedRR never once has requested a "acceptance of work completed" sign offI am not sure what this even isThe 1st contractor doesn't get a do over because they were incapable of doing the work The first row of siding is the most importantif t you screw that up, such as they did the job looks horrendous Any good General Contractor would know thatI never told the 2nd contractor "I could finish the work myself" Might be true he had family affairs to take care of, but im sure the whole crew didn't attend I have not, I repeat, Have not, got a detailed receipt from the company that sold the materials to RR as I have requested numerous times after being wrongfully accused of taking materials I want the receipt from the building materials company, not something that RR prints off I will not put up with being called a liar and a thief The only thing that has been consistent with RR is the lack of communication through this whole process Once they had a check signed over they have been very unhelpful Every contractor has said that RR wont return calls to them eitherThe last response I received from RR was February15, It was the email claiming I took 1/of the materials That is the last time I have heard from anyone at RR even thoug I sent numerous emails and left voice mails The 3rd contractor has been in touch and says that he heard that RR was going to contact me which has never happenedI need the materials list from the building company so we can see what the issue isI paid for the materials so I should be able to get a receiptI will not cower to RR lack of being a professional business and their use of bully tacticsRevdex.com I have all email communication up til the 15th of February, since this is the only way they choose to communicate, if the communicate at all The last customer complaint seems right up there with mine RR provided poor contractors and the work had to be redone Kind of hard to run a company over the internet when you need someone to be there hands on in case any issues arise RR has been a nightmare since the start of this project I have the right to have the same craftsmanship place upon my house as what is currently being taken off the house I have asked for nothing more, but seems that RR is incapable of providing such I shouldn't have to be forced to deal with lackluster workmanship performed on my property I need the list of detailed list materials sold and the 1st crew delivered to my houseIt shouldn't be that hard to provide and shouldn't be an issue to provide to me Once again the list should come from the business that sold materials and the materials that were picked up by the 1st construction crew I'm guessing all materials did not get delivered, picked up or purchased, but it shouldn't be my job to do the accounting of the materials [redacted]

ColorPlus siding replacement. In addition to receiving a discounted rate for their siding work, the client back-doored Rimrock Roofing out of $2,000 worth of work by contracting directly with our subcontractor (whom is now no longer working with Rimrock Roofing) to complete replacement of some wood rot which was discovered once their siding was removed. contractors to leave his property after they had completed various stages of siding and soffit replacement. The 1st licensed contractor provided by Rimrock Roofing completed partial tear-off, partial moisture wrapping and started the 1st row of siding application. Mr [redacted] unilaterally demanded 1st contractor leave his property and not return saying his quality of work was not acceptable to him - after being given the opportunity to only install 1 partial row of siding. Rimrock Roofing then provided Mr [redacted] with a 2nd licensed and experienced siding contractor. This 2nd contractor (during the winter months) continued siding tear-off, moisture wrap and applying new siding. This 2nd contractor told Rimrock Roofing that Mr [redacted] told him that "I can do all of this work myself". While working on the [redacted] residence the 2nd licensed contractor had an expected death in his family and had to leave Montana for 7-10 days. Upon his return from his father's funeral, the 2nd licensed contractor was forced to immediately leave the [redacted] jobsite by Mr [redacted] who did not accept that "excuse" for delaying his project. Rimrock Roofing was then able to provide a 3rd licensed contractor (after waiting for the one that was pre-screened and acceptable to Mr [redacted]) they continued to complete all contracted repairs. After completion of all siding tear-off, disposal and new moisture wrap - the 3rd contractor then continued siding installation on multiple elevations of [redacted] residence. Upon using all materials available at jobsite, the 3rd contractor informed Rimrock Roofing that there was a material shortage (approx 1/3 of required materials needed to be re-ordered). Revdex.com,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com because Rimrock Roofing didn't
want to hear anything I had to say about our experience and dissatisfaction with their company.   They still haven't sent anyone out to look at the finished product or have acknowledged that we are unhappy with the finished product or our service with RimRock Roofing.  Again the only reason we signed the paperwork is because we felt the
contractors were incapable of doing the job well.  Case in point the entry
way the contractor redid for the third time and it still looks horrible (pictures attached in previous email).  We have had another contractor come look at our home and it is going to
cost us $3,862 to have it fixed so it looks decent.  Asking for $3,000 and
not the entire cost is being pretty lenient to RimRock.   The contractor stated in his estimated (which is attached) "As
a licenced contractor, it is of my opinion however, that if the original
contractor is unable to repair the areas noted by the homeowners I would
recommend hiring another more experienced professional to completely reside the
entire house. It would be extremely difficult to remove and replace much of the
problem areas without damaging the majority of the siding."

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because :I did not breach contract. All the siding has not been removed as claimed by RR ,if RR did their job like a General Contractor should they would know this. New moisture wrap isn't on the total house obviously because all the siding hasn't been removed, as RR has claimed. RR never once has requested a "acceptance of work completed" sign off. I am not sure what this even is. The 1st contractor doesn't get a do over because they were incapable of doing the work.  The first row of siding is the most important. if t you screw that up, such as they did the job looks horrendous.  Any good General Contractor would know that. I never told the 2nd contractor "I could finish the work myself".  Might be true he had family affairs to take care of, but im sure the whole crew didn't attend.  I have not, I repeat,  Have not, got a detailed receipt from the company that sold the materials to RR as I have requested numerous times after being wrongfully accused of taking materials.  I want the receipt from the building materials company, not something that RR prints off.  I will not put up with being called a liar and a thief.  The only thing that has been consistent with RR is the lack of communication through this whole process.  Once they had a check signed over they have been very unhelpful.  Every contractor has said that RR wont return calls to them either. The last response I received from RR was February15, 2017.  It was the email claiming I took 1/3 of the materials.  That is the last time I have heard from anyone at RR even thoug I sent numerous emails and left voice mails.  The 3rd contractor has been in touch and says that he heard that RR was going to contact me which has never happened. I need the materials list from the building company so we can see what the issue is. I paid for the materials so I should be able to get a receipt. I will not cower to RR lack of being a professional business and their use of bully tactics. Revdex.com I have all email communication up til the 15th of February, since this is the only way they choose to communicate, if the communicate at all.  The last customer complaint seems right up there with mine.  RR provided poor contractors and the work had to be redone.  Kind of hard to run a company over the internet when you need someone to be there hands on in case any issues arise.  RR has been a nightmare since the start of this project.  I have the right to have the same craftsmanship place upon my house as what is currently being taken off the house.  I have asked for nothing more, but seems that RR is incapable of providing such.  I shouldn't have to be forced to deal with lackluster workmanship performed on my property.  I need the list of detailed list materials sold and the 1st crew delivered to my house. It shouldn't be that hard to provide and shouldn't be an issue to provide to me.  Once again the list should come from the business that sold materials and the materials that were picked up by the 1st construction crew.  I'm guessing all materials did not get delivered, picked up or purchased, but it shouldn't be my job to do the accounting of the materials.

Review: We signed our contract with Rimrock Roofing in September of 2014. In this contract it states that work would be completed within 30 days of material being delivered to our home. From the point we signed the contract and gave Rimrock Roofing our deposit service went drastically down hill. They kept post postponing the start date of our house from being completed by the end of October in 2014 to our house finally being completed unsatisfactory on June 13, 2015. Work was started April 10, 2015 material was delivered was delivered April 22, 2015.

I expressed my concern first to an employee at RimRock Roofing on June 11, 2015 of the job taking a total of 65 (i informed her that I had kept track of when the workers weren't at our house, when they were pulled to work other jobs and that they frequently showed up late and left very early) days to complete and that we were not happy with the quality of work. We had to ask the contractor 4 times to fix things on our home and they are still not done to our satisfaction. The employees response to us was that they do not know when their contractors are there unless we inform them and that most people are happy.

We where then contacted not even 4 hours after work was completed again not to our satisfaction wondering on a Saturday wondering where their payment was. I again informed the gentlemen that we signed the contract with that they just finished and we are not happy with the work and expressed our concern about the job taking 65 days to complete. His response was similar to the employee I spoke with earlier. It wasn't his fault the contractors were not at our home he subcontracts out his work. He didn't want to hear anything I had to say about our experience. I then informed him that we needed to make an appointment with our mortgage company to do a final inspection before they released funds. He asked me why I didn't do this earlier and I again informed him that the contractor left our house not even 4 hours earlier and I would contact them on Monday. He continued to badger me on when they where going to do the inspection and when he would receive payment.

I have kept him informed that the mortgage inspector would be at our house early the week of the June 29th. He responded by saying they where putting a lean on our home.

We are going to have to have some of the work redone because they did not do a good job. We are not happy with our experience at allDesired Settlement: we are asking for a $3,000 reduction in our bill to help pay for the work that will have to be redone.

Our home looks like it is an under budget job. If they were not happy with the amount our insurance company was willing to pay, then they shouldn't have agreed to work on our home. It's not our fault they didn't get the price they wanted. Yes, we did have the contractor do the rot job but it was $740 not $2,000. The reason why we had him do the work is because RimRock Roofing told him to cover up the rot. We have the right to choose who did the additional work on our home that was not part of our contract with RimRock Roofing.
