RimTyme has a referral program that offers a $credit on any item in the store when a customer is referred and purchases rims and tiresThe referral bonus has never been issued in cash, nor do we express that factWe have several documents in the store mentioning the referral bonus but none express the exact form of paymentUpon investigation, I found out the customer was issued a $credit off of his existing account balance therefore he received the referral bonus in way of a creditTherefore the credit was receivedThe store manager provided me the receipt of that transaction, and showed me where the credit was given.At that time I took the time to review the video footage to further investigate the other claimsI found that there was much discussion then the situation escalatedI watched several employees ask the customer to leave but he would notThe customer eventually left after employees requested police assistance.I understand there are always two sides to every story and I regret all of this happened over a misunderstandingWe value the business of all of our customers but I will not tolerate threats and personal attacks against my employeesWe cancelled the police report and any charges while understanding everyone has a bad day

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Rimtyme is lyingI never harassed themI kept calling them after noticing that they never gave me my original lugs to my vehicle and to tell them that their employee was cursing the whole time he was at my house [redacted] the manager spoke with me twice before the guy came out and I clearly stated that the rims were still on my car & my factory rims would have to be put back on & each time [redacted] said that was fine, just as long as they got their rims backDue to the "guy" not installing my tires on correctly, I almost had a wreck because the lugs he put on my tires were too big & they refuse to replace my lugsThey will pay, trust me Regards, [redacted]

RimTyme has several options for customers that encounter hardship and cannot make their scheduled paymentsDay hold: The customer has this option to pause their payments by returning the merchandise at the store and take a day break to get caught up on bills and other unexpected hardshipsWe agree to waive any late fees and only expect cooperation by the customer by keeping the product in the same condition.Voluntary Return:The customer has the option to simply return the product to the storeProviding the product is in similar condition as the time of sale, and their account is in good standing, we would be satisfied with repenting at a later date with updated documentation.Voluntary Return in the Field:On the rare occurrence the customer cannot come to the store to drop off the merchandise, we have to dispatch our crew to pick up the rims and tiresDue to liability concerns, we only remove the propertyWe will assist the customer while installing their factory wheels if desiredIn this particular case, the customer informed us that they had already removed their wheels and we simply need to pick up our propertyAt arrival our crew was surprised to see that the wheels were still on the customers vehicleAfter being harassed by the customer informing her that we cannot install her wheels, the crew decided to help her install the factory wheels on her vehicleRimtyme cannot be held liable for the condition of the factory wheels or the ride quality thereofAt the time of sale, the customer was given all her old lug nuts and factory possessionsIn my opinion, my employee went out of his way to help this customer

I was not aware that the customer was still having problems receiving additional insertsI have been at the store every day for the past month and the last time I received a FM messenger from the customer was that he was threatening legal actionWhen that happens, per policy, we stop all line of
communicationI have ordered several additional inserts for the customer and have them in stockThe original set was brand new and we had to remove each insert from each wheel which involves several screws and is quite labor intensiveThis was done due to the fact the customer was going to have them custom paintedWe only UNSCREWED themWe did not tighten them leading to cracking or breakingI agree my employees should have been aware of any defect or broken pieces but, again, there were many inserts and piecesWe are not a mfg and not set up for bubble wrap or shipping materials, but I do agree they could have been packaged betterI will be at the store all this week M-Satto address any further problemsI will furnish the customer with as many insert he needs as I have already paid for several extra. thank you, *** *** owner RimTyme Jackson

At Rimtyme we handle each and every situation very importantly. In this case, the customer did a chargeback claiming RimTyme used her her credit card in a fraudulent manner. Once we were debited the payment, the customer called and informed us that it was indeed her error and would make us whole...

within 48 hours. Even though the contract strictly states a no grace period, we gave her a time to get her affairs in order. Unfortunately after one weeks we were still not made whole and several commitments were broken. At this time we had no choice but to retrieve our merchandise.During the repossession period, the customer became hostile with our crew and made several attempts to move her vehicle while our crew was attempting to remove the rims and tires. This created a serious safety situation. When we tried to block in her vehicle she then proceeded to ram our van several times to leave the scene. At that time we decided not to take legal action.Later that week she came to RimTyme clearly with no desire to make a payment but to create another scene in front of our paying customers. At that time we retrieved our Property.This entire situation could have been avoided if she would have contacted the bank to reverse the chargeback, made the payment within 48 hours using another card or pay by cash, or just returned the rims and tires.At RimTyme repossession in the field is a last option and only occurs after several attempts of communication.
