[redacted] Hard Copy Attached ***To whom it may concern, Ringdahl Inc., Jamestown Ambulance is aware of the complaint and visited with the plaintiff about the incident dated 6-17-She called our offices and demanded to talk to the owner [redacted] RingdahlI returned her call within minutes and listened to her complaintI told her that I would pull the records and review them and call her backLater that day I called her back and explained that our staff did make contact with her and gave her a simple verbal trauma assessment and documentation was correctShe was very upset explaining that they did nothing of the sort and our staff told her that she would not get an ambulance billOur staff obtained a signature on the care report and it was filed with our company and the state of North Dakota Department of Health that dayThe plaintiff received a service fee of $for services and documentation to provide for her insurance companyShe refused to do soShe claims that this is fraudI told her it was not fraud and this is a standard practice for most all ambulance services in North DakotaShe was extremely upset and there was no way to calm her downShe explained that she instructed the insurance company not to pay the fee and was told that they refused to do so anywaysShe also went on to say that she will be contacting the Revdex.com regarding this and that she would rather die than call our ambulance serviceShe requested to have the fee waived and I told her I wouldI called our billing department and held the feeI also called her insurance company and explained the problemThey informed me that they would pay the service fee and that there was no problem doing thisThey are familiar with this practice and have no issue with itI refused to have them process the feeThe plaintiff also made the statement that she repeatedly called our offices with no answer and then drove miles to confront someoneOur staff was out of the offices answering other ambulance callsShe was extremely upset about this and felt it necessary to make that complaintI am taking time out of my busy day to respond back to your agency and hope that you inform me that there will not be a negative feedback attached to our company file
