purchase through our web site's Pay Pay purchase button using his credit card. The event was clearly marketed on the web and at the ticket purchase sight as a NON-Refundable purchase. It is boldly printed so there is little chance of it going unseen. After the event I spoke with Mr. [redacted] regarding his wife's unfortunate illness and explained that the ticket purchase was not refundable, but that I would be happy to allow him to use it for a future event. I also explained to him that the Ball is presented by a collection of vendors and artists, is limited in ticket sales and required a guarantee for catering. He seemed at the time to understand and was agreeable to the offer. I felt the matter was closed. Sometime later, he then contested his purchase through the credit card company. After review and investigation of the purchase, the Credit Card Company agreed to the terms of the transaction, processed my charges for the event and the matter was closed.. I have explained to him on several occasions that this was an event, much like a cruise, and that his purchase of tickets for the event was a non-refundable transaction. I tried in good faith to resolve his issue with a solution that worked for everyone. Unfortunately I have been unable to resolve his issue.Thank you for your time and attention to this issue.
