I have already talked to Mark today 3/21/about the issue that happened on 3/17/Our employees are not allowed to give out any personal phone numbers to customersWe do normally use the same shop for any issues that come up but I told him that it would be fine that he could take it to any shop that he chooses and that I would cover the cost of the repairsHe will be at that location sometime this week to provide me with the estimates and at that time I will make arrangements for paymentWe had a very good talk with one another and it was explained to him yesterday that I had a doctor appointment yesterday and that I would return his call today as I didHe also thanked me for taking care of this in a very professional mannerLet me know if any further information is needed

I have talked to *** and we will be sending him a check this coming week to cover the cost of the repairs

The response is accurate with these two exceptions: I asked to speak to the manager and this individual told me he was the CEO; the "CEO" told me they had no video capability of vehicles entering the wash, only exiting, which was in conflict with what the "assistant manager" told my husband. The response submitted to the Revdex.com implies there was video on entering the wash. I did not accuse the CEO of lying but did tell him the assistant manager would have been lying if there was no video on entering the wash. I did expect a replacement for the part damaged in the wash.

On 1/31/2017 a white Ford truck entered our location at just after 1 pm and then left the property and returned home. Later that day the customer called and said that a small piece of trim from the front of the vehicle was coming off. They were told to come to the site and fill out a damage claim...

report and we would then review the camera footage to see what had happened as they did. We then looked at the footage of them coming into the wash and the part in question was on the vehicle and when exiting the wash it did show that it was loose. My assistant manager told them what we had seen and then explained to them that we are not responsible for any loose trim that may come off inside the wash as we and all other car wash locations have a disclaimer sign posted prior to entering stating about loose chrome or trim. We do not physically check all of the vehicles to see if all parts of their vehicle are secured properly prior to entering. I then spoke with [redacted] and told her that it was not our fault as we physically do not check every vehicle for loose trim and also explained the disclaimer sign but I would like to give her a free $50 gift card and my apology in good faith. She wanted only for me to replace the part in question and I told her that I could not do so as I can not see where it was our fault and again told her about the disclaimer sign. We do around 300-500 vehicles a day without damaging them as if so we and around 350 other car wash locations in the valley did would not be in business very long. I have been in this business for over 7 years now after retiring from a major beverage company as the Operations Manager for almost 30 years. I did not get to that level by lying or cheating people. She referred me as the "CEO" after telling her that I was the General Manager and also in charge of any claims made or issues with the business. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns on this matter as I do run an honest business.

I again talked with my assistant manager and he assures me that he did not tell the husband that there was no footage of it. He said that the footage we did see did not show that if it was loose but that does not mean that it was not loose. Just because it was not hanging off the vehicle does not mean that it was attached properly prior to entering. That again is why all car washes have that disclaimer prior to entering. I again apologize for any misunderstanding and my offer of the free gift card is still available if they want it but I do not feel that it was our fault.
