The customer responded to Revdex.com stating this response is not acceptable at this time. The business has not provided any communication to the customer about his claim. He has provided insurance documents regarding the damage that was done to his vehicle and the business is not only refusing to accept the damages as their fault, which he believes they are as they have a website dedicated to damage claims. He believes they are knowingly causing the damage and not being upstanding to working on this for the customer.

There was no preexisting damage. The employee retrieved the mirror from the car wash tracks. She returned the cracked mirror. It was fine when I entered the car wash. A replacement mirror coast $50. I expect to be reimbursed.

Review: The car wash ripped the mirror of my car. And cracked the mirror. The manager retrieved my mirror from the tracks in the car wash. The carwash now claims the damage was already there. This is a 2014 model car in impeccable condition. There was no cracked mirror.Desired Settlement: Replace the mirror that was damaged in their car wash, or refund me the amount of the replacement.

Review: I took my moms car to Rio car wash on rt. 17 [redacted] to get detailed. I return to pick the car up and the associate handed me half of my key. She told me she didn't know what happened but I can fill a complaint form out. I did so only to get a email saying these cars had problems with the key getting stuck inside the ignition, so they refuse to take responsibility and fix it. My mother nor I have ever had this problem with this car and the key was in perfect shape,no signs of weakness nor wear. The key was in solid condition. It clearly was force to be broken in half. If it was stuck they should have left it in the ignition and I should have been notified. Instead he took it upon himself to force the key (if it was ever really stuck) and break it. Like I said, we have never had a problem with the key getting stuck in the ignition. Therefore I think they should be responsible for the repairs.Desired Settlement: I would like Rio car wash to pay to get the key out and a key made for the one they broke, or any repairs needed to fix the problem they caused.

Review: on 11/27/15 I went to Rio Car Wash and was talked into taking a free car wash which I did. When being put through their car wash the back tire cover of my [redacted] was ripped off the back. The car wash people retrieved it and wen I went to put it back on the car I discovered it had ripped the stitching making the tie cover unusable. A claim was filed with Rob the same day who explained they would purchase a cover from the dealer and I could pick it up from them after they reviewed video footage.

I followed up several times via phone and email without a response. My claim was denied via email on 12/9 by Richard G[redacted], the General Manager with the following message:

"Thank you for choosing Rio Car Wash. Our wash process is very safe and gentle. We wash cars using blue strips of cloth that are kept very wet and lubricated with water and soap so that dirt and particles do not become imbedded in the cloth and scratch, dent or cause damage to cars. The tire cover had to be damaged for it to come off in the wash. You are welcome to watch vehicles with secured tire covers make it thru the wash process without damage. I am sorry for the inconvenience that this incident has caused but unfortunately the company cannot accept liability for your claim. Thank you"

I followed up with an email explaining this was unacceptable and received no response. We called and learned Rob was on vacation, so waited and called again least week. We were then told it would not be replaced because we got a free car wash.Desired Settlement: If I had not taken the offer for the free car wash my car would not have been damaged. I want a replacement tire cover in comparable condition provided by the business (meaning new or used in good quality)

Review: I agreed to a 1 time deduction for a monthly program & specifically asked if it was recurring or not. I was told it was not & the promotion would be for September. A payment would be deducted in October. I agreed & gave my info for the payment. I recently discovered unauthorized payments have been deducted since November. I requested my money back. One [redacted] said I would be in contact regarding how I'd be refunded. Another just called & said there was no refund & nothing could be done. I want my money returned.Desired Settlement: Refund of amount deducted without authorization

Regards,

Review: At approximately 2 PM on 29 Sep 2015, I paid and drove my 2009 Buick through the Rio Car Wash on Route 17 near Fredericksburg, VA. I parked the car at the car wash and immediately noticed the chrome around the small vent window (adjacent to the driver's side rear window), had been pulled away and bent backwards at a 90 degree angle to the car's body. I notified an employee who inspected the damage, took photos and had me complete a claim form on the spot. The employee said she was sorry the car wash damaged my car. Two days later I received an email form letter from Rio Car Wash (Route 17) informing me they had no liability. The letter had my name and address, but its salutation was to "Mr. [redacted]" and the letter stated Rio Car Wash had no liability for damage to Mr. [redacted]'s "light". The letter was signed by "[redacted]". I have since sent two emails to Mr. [redacted] asking to discuss the damage to my car. He has not responded. I also left three phone messages at the car wash number on the claim form, [redacted]. I have not received any response to my phone messages. Monetarily this is a very small matter. What concerns me is Rio Car Wash denies all liability for the damage and it is undisputable that the car wash damaged my car. It also concerns me that a business has not responded to my two emails and three phone call messages about the damage their car wash caused.Desired Settlement: I know Rio Car Wash has liability for any and all damage their car wash equipment causes to customers who pay to use their car wash. My daughter is a lawyer and she assures me the car wash is legally responsible for the damage. I want Rio Car Wash to pay for the cost of the damaged part and pay to have it installed on my car. I have not researched the cost of the part, but the total cost of the chrome piece and installation is probably less than $50.

Review: On, Friday, November 8, 2013, around 6:15pm, I went to the RIO 17 Car Wash located at [redacted] in [redacted], VA. I purchased the $12 car wash for my [redacted]. After exiting the wash, I pulled over to the drying area to vacuum my car. As usual, I inspected my car for any damage or scrapes because I try to make sure that my car always looks like the way I took it in. I noticed on the hood there were scratches and part of my paint was chipped. I continued to look around my car and also saw there was a scratch on the trunk of my car. I immediately notified the attendant of the damage. Both of us took pictures on our cell phones of the damage and he took me inside the office to file an online complaint using the contact page of the company's website. I filed the complaint giving a detailed description of what happened and the damage done. On, today, Monday, November 11, 2013, I received an email from one of the employees in the claims department, [redacted], stating that they were denying my claim because their equipment couldn't have caused the damage. I emailed him back stating that he reason was unacceptable. No one in claims even asked to look at my car or the pictures taken the day of the incident. I have not heard back from him as of yet. I have been trying to get in touch with someone from the corporate office. I did find out the [redacted] name is [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like for the car wash to repair the damage done to my vehicle and also refund me the cost of the car wash. I would also like a written apology for the way this claim was handled.
