MedTech has some great teacher's but it is more bad apples than good in the bunchMany of the teacher's are very disrespectful towards student's and act as if they do not want to see you succeedIf you go over their heads it is no use because they stick together and the instructors word will always be taken over the students no matter how disrespectful the instructor isThey are very unorganized, they switch teachers in the middle of the quarter and the replacement teachers are not knowledgeable in the subjects they are teaching they learn as they goClinical settings do not match up with the lectureFor instance you will be in maternity but your clinicals will be at a site that is more med surgTHIS SCHOOL IS NOT ACCREDITED!!! They will lie and tell you it isAlso I was charged + to take four classesI went part time taking two classes and was charged I never knew a school to charge part time students more than full time studentsThey charge a student fee but will not account for where the money goesThey started random drug tests for students (which I have no problem with) but the teachers are falling asleep in class, slurring they're words, and not giving test for five weeksMultiple complaints was made but as usual they were not addressedMedtech in Fort Wayne is absolutely horrible Spend your hard earned money elsewhereSave yourself the headache
Medtech College is a very unorganized schoolIf I would have known then what I know now I would have never attendedThere are some great professors but the bad outweighs the good Many black students deal with racism daily from Dr*** *** Mrs*** and *** *** Their goal is to get all of the black students outWe also deal with these people not knowing where clinical sites are going to be they will have you drive around to a bunch of different sites or even have you drive out of townAlso clinical sites do not correlate with the classThis is your education that you are paying a bunch of money for and students shouldnt have to deal with being a target and being harrassed daily because of the color of their skin
