This contractor was hired to fix cracks in ceiling, and repair 2 doors for a home inspection. This business guarantees 100% satisfaction and a 30 day warranty. The work was "done" but not what I would call repaired. I ended up having to give new buyers $1000 to rip out everything Rio MobilemServices did and re-do it correctly. The cracks are still there and visible. The door jamb was cut and repaired but the final product is very amateur looking and the old jamb and new jamb are not flush (door sticks and does not shut properly). This person OVERSOLD himself and his business during the quote. He assured me all repairs would be professional and the completed repairs would Lool as good as new. Not only is that not true, but because his quality of work was so subpar, it looks worse than original. Attempts at refunds were met with an email saying he isn't legally bound to give me a refund (his lawyer copied). Now I get no responses to my emails. Guess that warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee are about as solid as his quality of work. I've requested refunds using 2 different methods and both were ignored. This contractor states on his businesses LinkedIn page that his technicians are certified and extensively trained. I have screenshots of him offering to hire people that he has not met to do work the next day that he's already agreed to and had contracts signed. Is hiring random people off Facebook, people he's never met, make them certified? Our client approved of all the work that was performed on March 8th, 2016. It wasn't until the new home buyers complained about the work and how they would like it done differently when our client had an issue. In this time frame I have had to hire a lawyer, blocked his work, home, and cell phone numbers, take out 3 criminal charges against our client which includes the following: 1.) 2 counts of cyber stalking. 2.) 1 count of harassing phone calls (copies of all this are attached to this correspondence). My lawyer combed through the contract and stated that I am not legally obligated to issue any type of refund to our customer. To show good faith I did issue a check in the amount of $50.00 to our customer as a refund which was requested by our customer.Rio Mobile Services LLC tried many times to resolve all issues with our client. Our client became very belligerent and would not let us fix, modify, or make any changes to the work that was previously done at the residence in which Rio Mobile Services LLC performed the work.Rio Mobile Services LLC and its members have concluded that we will not issue any more refunds to our client and that we will continue to pursue the criminal charges that we have issued against our client. Furthermore Rio Mobile Services LLC and its corporate attorney are seeking future charges for slander, deformation of character, and cyber bullying.Rio Mobile Services LLC and it members have the legal right to protect its assets, brand, and company well being.
