*** *** In response to the complaint listed by *** *** , I do apologize for taking so long to respond but I was instructed by my Insurance company and Attorney not to respond until the matter was settled.Deluxe carpet cleaning cleaned rooms and a
hall for ** *** on 5-27-, the home was empty and unoccupied after cleaning our technician instructed the customer to leave the air conditioner on and any fans that he might have until the carpet was dryThe technician left the home after completing the homeOn Tuesday 5-30-Deluxe received a call that the home had a musty smell, we informed the customer that odors normally only occur if the home does not have proper circulation ( no a/c or fans) but we offered to come and spray treat it for himOn Wednesday we received another call that the floor had started to bubble up at this time we scheduled an appointment on Saturday 6-03-to examine the homeI went and looked at the home, we still spray treated the home for an odor and observed the floor bubbles (4) I then expressed the only way this could have happened was to have not left the air conditioner on but nevertheless we would try to take care of itI sent an Installer to evaluate the floor and he told me he could fix the bubbled spots for approx*** The installer also informed me that *** *** was insistent on getting a hardwood floor quote while he was there on the living room and hall which was the problem areasAfter I received the estimate Deluxe offered *** *** the *** to apply to the wood floors quote he requested or we would have the installer do the repairAt this time he declined the offer and stated he had received several other quotes in the *** ** *** range which actually is more than the amount needed to install wood floors*** *** would not accept our offer and asked me to make a insurance claimOur insurance sent an adjuster who was familiar with this kind of problem and found no fault of the company and denied his claimsince then *** *** has filed a small claims case in court for *** , Deluxe forwarded the claim to the insurance company and they have hired an attorney to handle the situationI was told today that the claim was asked to be dismissed by Mr*** Thank you for your patience in receiving our response you are welcome to contact us if you have further questions ***
