Review: I hired Rion Johnson (owner of Rion Photography) as my wedding photographer to take my wedding photos in Phuket, Thailand in April 2013 (he resides in Thailand part of the year and in WI the rest of the year), I paid USD$2995 which included a shooting fee of $950 and an wedding album deposit of $2000 plus I paid for his hotel for 3 nights including breakfast daily. He showed up and took the photos and provided me with a link after the wedding which showed some of the photographs (saved in small format so they could not be printed out) and the photos were good. But then he stopped all contact, and I repeatedly emailed, called, left messages on his cellphone & other phone, sent messages by skype and private messages on facebook for 10 months with no replies. I thought maybe he had an accident so I contacted former employers of his, former clients and even friends of his by facebook. Finally he replied on 3rd March 2014 after I had contacted his personal friends to say to wait 4 - 6 weeks as he was away and he would get photos edited. I waited this long with out any contact, then I saw he was on facebook again and I contacted him, he said he would give me some photos the following weekend but he didn't. It has now been another 2 weeks and again no replies and no photos. This has caused me a lot of stress and worry, thinking I would never get any photos of my wedding. It was an expensive wedding with 30 guests coming from many different countries including the USA, New Zealand, Australia, UK, Taiwan, Europe and I cannot possibly replicate it to take more photos. It has almost been 1 year with no photos to show anyone. I also fully paid up front for the album. I have incurred a lot of costs calling internationally and time following up with emails and trying to track him down.Desired Settlement: I would like all of my wedding photos & photos taken on the day after wedding shoot supplied to me in digital format ie on a disc, through dropbox or other cloud format and also the deposit of USD$2000 for my wedding album to be refunded to me which has been fully paid for upfront as he has not supplied me with an album, any photos, any refund or any estimated time for these things to happen despite repeated requests for them. It will be a year since the wedding on April 24th 2014 and all services were paid for upfront prior to the wedding. Thank you for your assistance with this.
