I did everything I said I would? I spoke to this client about days before the trip, told him I wouldn't be available over the weekend before our trip because of my wedding, and that I would call him on Monday? I did exactly that? He tried to get a hold of me during my wedding, when I said I would be unavailable, and he got upset over it? He wasn't available on Monday, when I told him I woud call? By all rights, I should not have even refunded his deposit since it was his fault I could not get a hold of him, however I did in order to make him happy and resolve the situation? I have never met this man in person? All I know is that he became extremely aggressive and angry on the phone with me? I am not sure what kind of disability he has, however it is a safety issue for me to take someone with that temperment in my boat? The fact that he still wants to spend hours in a boat with me after all of this makes me think this is a hustle? He is trying to get a free fishing trip out of this situation after it was his fault that we didn't have the first trip? On top of that, he is lying about the people at the campground not allowing him to use their phone? They were more than happy to let him use the phone? They also had many complaints about him walking around the campground doing drugs? I refunded his deposit, when I should not have, but I will not be hustled by someone who is dishonest and trying to take advantage of me? I have many excellent reviews about my services, and a good reputation in my town, ? and have never had a situation like this with a client? I have done all I will do to resolve the situation

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I made every effort short of going to Owen the guides house, to reach him.( no one should have to hunt down there guide)I left many messages on his mailbox before it was fullHe is not showing the time the calls he made, were madeHe is not showing all the messages I left fore himI tried calling on the 3rd, and got a full mail boxOn the 4th we asked to use the phone at the camp ground, they would not let us, and told us to go to his homeThat was after the scheduled trip, they said he just went out the day before, and there must be a mistake some whereWhen I got home from the trip, after driving miles round trip, paying days in the camp ground, buying fishing license for the trip, and buying all the things for the trip, and then for my guide not to show up, Yes, I was upsetI did not get angry at him until he said I shouldn't be upset, and that he did not want people like us on his boatI paid my deposit, and set a date with this businessI did everything I was supposed to do, and just want to go fishingI congratulate Owen on his marriage, and am sorry he got injured the week end before our tripBut he did not uphold his end of the agreement, at my expense, and did not contact me before the tripI am not asking for anything more than for him to uphold his end of the agreement as a guideI don't know anyone who would not get upset over this happing to themBut, for him to say he is afraid to have me on his boat is not true, as I am a yrold disabled man, that just wants to fist cost him gas to take us out, I have to pay for trips up there, and miles before its everOwen is the one upset, or he would take us outWe just want to fishWe are fishermenSincerely, [redacted] ***

This client did pay a deposit and schedule a date I told him we would confirm time and place the day before the trip I also told him that I wouldn't be available if he called the weekend before the trip because I was getting married and would be busy with my family in town all weekend He called me on this weekend and got upset I didn't get back to him until Monday, October 3rd, the day before the trip, when I told him I would call him I called him multiple times the day before the trip to confirm the time and place but always got his voicemail and left him messages He never returned my calls He called me the day of the trip, in the afternoon after we would have had our trip, very upset and very aggressive He was irrational and angry I apologized for the miscommunication and his inconvenience, and refunded his deposit immediately He seems to think I should pay for his gas, lodging and fishing gear, however he drove miles without ever talking to me or communicating with me I told him I had no problem refunding him, but I couldn't be held responsible for the rest This made him angrier and this is when he started threatening me with making a bad Revdex.com review and facebook review I told him that I didn't show up to the appointment because I wasn't able to talk to him the day before the trip to confirm the time and place When he booked the trip, I gave him a tentative time and place but told him that I wouldn't know for sure until the day before When I couldn't get a hold of him the day before the trip, I assumed he wasn't coming I would have worked a deal with him to compensate for his time, except that he was so aggressive and irrational when I talked to him that I wouldn't feel safe being in my boat with himAfter our conversation, I went to the campground he stayed at and talked to the owners, who said that this client had told them his phone wasn't working The owners told him he could use their phone, but he didn't They even told him where I lived, which is the property next to the campground, but he never knocked on my door Our trip was supposed to be October 4th, and I am attaching the call log from my phone showing that I called him times on October 3rd, trying to confirm This is ridiculous
