I also have email from The President stating he is my agency representative going forward and all business should be done through him, and he insists I purchase the Workers Compensation Policy of $3,499.00 or show proof of coverage Or he will Non-renew my General Liability Policy of $308.00. I will be happy to forward these emails or print and mail copies for your references.

Review: I contacted the company to get a copy of my general liability insurance policy, in return I received an email stating that I would need to purchase further coverage in the amount of $3500, ask me if I have workers compensation with another agency, if so please forward a copy to me for your file, if you do not have a wc policy I must insist you get it to keep your general liability policy in place with me. I cannot be your agent if you do not wish to take my counsel and insure for your greatest exposure. The premium coverage for this is 3,499 for the year, payments will be 1749 down to start the policy and 1749 30 days later. You have 30 days to provide workers compensation from another company or purchase our policy. if evidence of a wc policy is not provided to me by2/15/16 I will non renew your general liability policy as of that date. Another email received 1/26/16 saying I have asked the company to non renew on 4/2/2016, your renewal date, you will receive documentation 60 days in advance of the non-renewal, you will need to find replacement coverage before 4/2/2016. I am not required by law to purchase a workers compensation policy I work by myself by the hour. I have paid for the last two years in full for my general Liability Policy now he is stating he will non renew because I did not purchase additional insurance in excess of 3500 that I did not need and I have never filed a claim.Desired Settlement: Keep my General Liability Policy. Company should be investigated for fraudulently overcharging customers for coverages they don't need by threatening to cancel current coverages if they non purchase additional coverages. This company should have its license revoked to sell insurance.
