The technician left to go pick up the part needed at the supply house and planned on coming back that day but the customer needed us to return that following MondayThe "travel charge is our service call chargeOur invoice don't show "service call" but rather 'travel charge.' To Whom it May Concern:Attached is a letter from [redacted] outlining the transaction with [redacted] and the procedures she followed in performing the cleaning of the ductsIt is obvious that she could not have known of any collapse of the ducts since the hoses used were able to go into the ducts for feetFurther, the air flow had improved after the cleaning and the furnace appeared to be running normallyUpon the customer's subsequent complaint, I went back to the residence and performed the additional services reflected on the attached invoiceOnly by performing these services could it be determined that the ducts had indeed collapsed at the point that they attached to the furnace.I still feel that my company did nothing improperI am still willing to forgo payment of $for services rendered to [redacted] if this matter is fully settled at this pointHowever, a claim for that amount will be pursued on behalf of the company if suit is filed..I would also request that I be provided with copies of all documentation, including work orders and invoices, for all work performed by subsequent HVAC contractors to repair or replace her furnace after our company left the job

Rite Temperature received a letter from the Revdex.com, 7/25/the problem is resolved Rite Temperature sent out a service technician on 7/24/who ran a new wire I am enclosing a copy of the original proposal which shows no evidence Rite Temperature was suppose to run a new wire If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me

I am rejecting this response because: As far as the Revdex.com is concerned, this matter is closedI will not argue my case on this site any furtherAs far as Carlos M [redacted] and his daughter are concerned, I am going to small claims court and call [redacted] from [redacted] *** Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: MrM*** should have inspected the duct work before telling me to have them cleanedIf I had known they were collapsed I would not have spent the money to clean themHow do you clean collapsed ducts? Ms*** told me that she would be able to tell me if they were collapsed when she was cleaning themShe told me they were fineNow, I am going to call *** *** of the news and I am going to take MrM*** and his daughter *** *** to small claims court
Regards,

To Whom It May Concern,Upon arrival at the home, I determined that the furnace was short cycling and that the air flow coming from the vents were weakI advised the customer that this condition often is caused by a buildup of dirt and debris in the duct work, especially in a home of this
age where the ducts had not been cleaned since installedIt should be noted that the duct work was installed in the concrete floor.I suggested to her that it may be advisable to try having the ducts cleaned rather than incur the much more expensive procedure of dismantling the furnaceShe agreed to try this step and I provided her the contact information for my daughter, *** ***, who has a duct cleaning business.I did not personally participate in the duct cleaning procedureAfter that procedure was performed, the customer notified me that the cleaning did not solve the problemI returned to the home and dismantled that portion of the furnace needed to gain access to the plenum and ductsUpon inspection, it was discovered that the ducts had collapsed and were no longer functional or repairableSince the customer was not present at the time, I left and relayed this information to her later by phone.I advised her that it would be necessary to install a new furnace as well as new duct work travelling through the atticI did not tell her that the existing furnace could be "flipped", The customer was upset that the duct cleaning was not successful and she had spent the money to have it done.I feel that I did nothing improper, and that I bear no responsibility to reimburse her for the cost of duct cleaningI made no guarantee that the cleaning would in fact solve the problem but that it was an option she could choose, which she didI did not receive any money from the cleaning job, and have not sent her an invoice for the work I actually performedI am willing to forgo billing her for my services if that will resolve all issues she hasPlease feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.SincerelyRite Temperature Heating & CoolingCarlos L M***

on coming back that day but the customer needed us to return that following Monday. The "travel charge is our service call charge. Our invoice don't show "service call" but rather 'travel charge.' Rite Temperature took off $80.00 to make the customer happy. Rite Temperature has always had reasonable prices. In 45 years of business, we've never had any complaintsabout price gouging. To Whom it May Concern:Attached is a letter from [redacted] outlining the transaction with [redacted] and the procedures she followed in performing the cleaning of the ducts. It is obvious that she could not have known of any collapse of the ducts since the hoses used were able to go into the ducts for 15 feet. Further, the air flow had improved after the cleaning and the furnace appeared to be running normally. Upon the customer's subsequent complaint, I went back to the residence and performed the additional services reflected on the attached invoice. Only by performing these services could it be determined that the ducts had indeed collapsed at the point that they attached to the furnace.I still feel that my company did nothing improper. I am still willing to forgo payment of $450.00 for services rendered to [redacted] if this matter is fully settled at this point. However, a claim for that amount will be pursued on behalf of the company if suit is filed..I would also request that I be provided with copies of all documentation, including work orders and invoices, for all work performed by subsequent HVAC contractors to repair or replace her furnace after our company left the job.

Rite Temperature received a letter from the Revdex.com, 7/25/2014. the problem is resolved.  Rite Temperature sent out a service technician on 7/24/2014 who ran a new wire.  I am enclosing a copy of the original proposal which shows no evidence Rite Temperature was suppose to run a new wire....
