Riteway transportation is not safe for children. my child was riding home from school when 3 students on the school bus were attacking him on oct. 22 his nose was busted and he was taken to childrens hospital because the bleeding would not stop.while the bus driver claim he did not see anything and his bus was pulled over at the time of the incident he stated the kids were in chaos but all the while he did not get up out of his seat to attend to the kids in chaos.The bus had cameras.A week prior oct.14 my children were in a fight with two older boys mind you my youngest child is in k4. The kids who attacked them were 4th graders. 2 bus drivers on the bus this day and neither one intervened. Rite way is not a safe transportation for children at all.

Review: We booked and paid for an airport shuttle for my mother, [redacted] from the Milwaukee airport to her home in Oconomowoc, WI. She was flying a red-eye flight and was returning from a cancer follow-up appointment with her doctor in Los Angeles. She is 70 years old and also diabetic. Her flight was scheduled to arrive at 12:45am on July 24th. The flight was delayed so I phoned the shuttle service early on Tuesday to let them know of the delay and to inquire if my mother would require alternative transportation. The woman said no problem. She said they monitor the flights and as long as she was on the same flight number, she just needed to pick up the white phone in customer service when she arrived and a van would be dispatched. She said they operate 24/7.

My mother did as she was told after arriving at 2:00 am on her scheduled flight [redacted] #[redacted]. All food establishments and facilities are closed at the airport at this time. The man told her no one could get her until at least 5:00am. He offerred nothing else. When she persisted, he said "take a cab, we will reimburse you. I have no drivers!" She called me at home in Los Angeles terrified. Alone at the closed airport in Milwaukee at 2:00 with no place to even buy a soda if her blood sugar dropped over the next 3 hours (almost as long as the cross-country flight itself).

I called the shuttle service immediately and the "manager" who would not give me his name was extremely rude saying "nothing I can do" and a van "should be there around 5 or 6" and hung up the phone. My husband then called back and attempted to speak with the manager whom promptly transferred the call to dispatch. A woman named Michelle Semons-Allen answered. She also informed the husband there was nothing they could do. She said the manager went home and his name was [redacted]. She said she would not call him at home and there was nothing she could do until 5 or 6 in the morning. My husband informed her she was diabetic and there was no place to purchase food while she waited. He asked if they could reimburse her for a cab to her home (roughly $125-150 based on 2 quotes I got while he was on the phone). She said no, only for her shuttle service fee. He asked if they could provide her a hotel room or help us with phone numbers for alternate shuttle or limo services. She said there were none. she said there was nothing she could do. This went on for 15-20 minutes. We do not know Milwaukee or anything about alternative transportation services. He begged her not to leave her there all night fearing a bad outcome. Her stress and anxiety coupled with her diabetes was not a good situation. She refused to help in any way or contact a manager. She said the call was recorded and hung up on him.

She only had a small amount of cash on her and her son's credit card. We called around and got her a cab that could charge the credit card. We sent her home at 3:30am in the cab. The poor woman was terrified. She has not traveled alone before in many years and what an absolutely awful experience for her.

At 3:40, while in the cab, a man named Jeff from Riteway called her. She informed him she was in a cab.Desired Settlement: We want her cab ride paid for at the very least. We also strongly feel they need to invoke new policies for situations when they "over book" themselves to not leave riders stranded in the middle of the night with no alternatives. Some compassion would be fabulous as well, but is probably too much to ask for from this particular company. We also want her original money paid back.

I spoke to Mrs. Shawn’s daughter on Friday, July 26th and sent her an email confirming our conversation and resolution of the issue.

I have refunded the passenger’s fare. Today I submitted to have the passenger reimbursed for the cost of alternate transportation.

I am hopeful that our efforts to resolve this issue are to the satisfaction of the customer and her daughter and son-in-law.

Please accept my apologies for the terrible experience you had when you got home from your trip early in the morning on Wednesday, July 24th I have sent a check to cover the cost of the cab ride that you had to pay for that morning. I have refunded your fare to your son-in-Iaw's credit card as well for that trip. Finally, I spoke to your daughter and she will be able to set up free round trip transportation for you and a companion the next time you travel to see her. Again, I am very sorry for the way you, your daughter and your son-in-law were treated that morning.
