I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The business/Owner did not address the items of dispute. First of all the business did not leave a roll of blue painter's tape. The business provided a note pad that included their information and ponotes. The Owner asked me to mark the areas that required touch up paint. There were several areas that needed touch up, therefore I placed ponotes in areas and I typed the items and saved them to my computer. When I attempted to schedule for the business to return the Owner provided me with many excuses 1) His sister had to take him to emergency because he injured his back; 2) In meetings with the *** of *** for new projects so business Owner promised to send Staff person. Staff person never showed up3) Owner never returned calls. The last in person contact was October 10, when Owner, James Weaver finally came to my home after various attempts to repaint/touch up areas. Owner said that he would contact me that week to complete the job. Never received any telephone call from the business Owner the week of October 10, 2017. I called the business owner the following week (week of October 17, 2017) and he did not return my call. Rite Way Painting LLC was the only company contracted to paint the interior of my home. The advertisement that the business owner left in *** has check marks that indicates the business does priming, paint preparation and removal and interior painting to name a few. The employees did not remove paint. There was dried paint that should have been seen and removed during the job. I'm amazed that the business owner said he was contracted by *** *** to complete painting projects. His lack of commitment in completing the job at my home is an indication that he cares less about completing the job right the first time. As a consumer, I do not wish to have this business or Owner return to my home to do any work. My goal is to inform other consumers to avoid contracting with Rite Way Painting LLC because at the completion of the job, the Owner requested payment a portion in cash and the remaining by check and said he would return to do a walk through with me, the client, and return to settle any repairs needed. That did not happen. He continued to make excuses after giving me his word. This company does not fulfill it's promises. *** M***
