This letter is in response to the complaint received on 07/31/with assigned ID First of all I would like to clarify that Martha Sandoval is not working for our company for more than a year agoWe believe that the complainant went to her directly(not through our company or our office)
to start her immigration processAnd I wouldn't know if she gave her advice on what forms to fill out, because like I said she no longer works at our companyMartha lived almost right next to the office and many people knew her and that she filled out various types of paperwork at her houseI figured this because the complainant did come afterwards when she couldn't find Martha and when we asked her to show her receipt for the service that our company helped her with, she did NOT have itWe did not find her application in our records or any receipt.Regardless of this, we still offered to help her at this point, after she said that she had gone to Martha to start her immigration processShe said that she wanted to continue the process to adjust her status in the United States.We assist in filling out the forms that they requestAnd at that point she did pay $to have a set of forms filled out (the package she requested, Adjustment of Status form) We do not tell them what forms they should fill outAnd they are filled out with the information provided by herThere is a sign in the waiting area that specifies that we are not attorneys and do not offer legal advice.After receiving a letter of denial from immigration, the complainant called me and we talkedShe only talked about her receiving a refundI told her that we did not receive her filing moneyShe sent it to immigration along with her formsI was explaining to her that the filing fee application is the fees charged by immigration and has nothing to do with our companyWhy would we have to refund that money if we did not receive it.? I also clarified that all the receipts that she would bring that were made at our office, she would get it refundedThe only money received by our office is $220, per our receipt bookAnd this was sent back to herAttached is a copy of the check. And we did not even have to refund this, as it was her mistake and her dishonesty that led her to overspendPlease review this case and share with the complainant. I am rejecting this response because:Myriam did help me with the beginning process, but she was not the one who told me to fill out the Adjustement of StatusThe one who Advised me to fill out that application was one of his employees currently working theee and her name is GracieThey called her to variety what application I should fill out after being rejected several timesIt was their job to ask me questions and verify what application should be send outThe one who helped me fill out the application is also one of his current employees NancySo therefore it was their fault because if it was not because they advised me fill out that application I would not have got rejected by ImmigrationImmigrayooms job is not to refund me the money because they did their part in reviewing the paper workHe is also lying because I do have the receipt of where Martha started the process and she gave me a receipt with the that I paidSo therefore they are lying because I have all my paper work and receipts in handsThey are trying to put the blame on Martha when in reality it is his current employees who advised me to fill out the applicationAttached here is the receipt of the money I paid so they are lying because they should have records of this receiptI'm the receipt is specifies that the only thing Martha helped me with was the petition I-I have proof that that his employees advised me to file that applicationIne of his old workers Juan Cardenas was actually the one who called her for help and she told him which application I needed to send
