I have attached a copy of the tag for the gloves in question I have not talked to the customer but have put in a call to himWhat I have gathered from my people is that the customer purchased a few pairs of these gloves at some point in time in the pastHe has brought them back a few times to be changed outWe did change them out a one or two times but this last time the assistant manager on duty felt the customer was taking advantage of the situation and chose not to replace them The customer called Ace and Ace called our employee to find out why he did not replace the gloves and he told them what I shared with you above I do not know if Ace sent him gloves or not Once I hear from him then I can decide on how we will move forward in settling this complaint In the big picture giving away a few pairs of gloves is not the end of the worldAt the same the intent of the Ace guarantee is not to give away product till the end of time Once I hear back from him I will let you know what is decided Another reason he may have been declined is that he did not provide a sales receipt for the original purchase of the gloves I don’t know that for a fact and the assistant manager cannot recall either [redacted] General Manager Ritter Lumber
