Review: My out of state children purchased a hanging flower basket for mothers day, it was delivered on that day 5/11/14. On 5/20 I called the store to ask what their policy on plants was and to inform them this plant was dead, the 1st clerk went to find an answer. Another clerk got on the phone said he was a manager, after I explained my problem, His response was "I have hundreds of hanging baskets in the shop that are not dead, you killed it, no gaurentee no refund. I told him I would bad mouth his business to anyone/everyone that would listen. Again he said he didn't care that I killed it. I feel that is not how to speak to customers, since then I tore up the dead flowers and replanted new flowering plants in the same basket and so far it is thriving, I dont believe I killed his plant.

I am the manager who took the call, my name is [redacted]. When I received the call I was asked by the caller what the warranty was on our hanging baskets. I replied that we do not warranty the baskets and asked what was wrong with the basket in question. The complaintant responded that it was dead. I stated that I could try to help figure out what went wrong and asked if it was hanging in a sunny location and was informed that it was in the sun (which they require.) I then asked how often it was being watered and the complaintant replied that she had watered it once since receiving it. I informed her that the reason the basket died was due to lack of water. She then proceeded to berate me regarding the warranty policy and stated " then I will just talk bad about you and the store." My reply was "you may do that if you wish, but it died because you didn't water it."
