The vehicle in question was repossessed the afternoon of January 20, While at the location, the recovery agent was approached by a female who identified herself as the customer's motherShe was inquiring as to why the agent was there and why was the vehicle being towedShe was informed that
the vehicle was being repossessed and was asked if the customer was thereThe agent was informed that the customer was not thereAt that point the agent informed the female that the customer needed to call the lien holder in reference to the matterAt this point the agent left the area with the vehicle for transport to storage At NO point during the repossession was the customer presentAt NO point was there any conversation about any personal property inside the repossessed vehicleANY and ALL matters pertaining to the vehicle and or personal property are only allowed to be conducted WITH the customerWe are NOT permitted to release any property to anyone else but the customerHad there been any attempt by the mother to retrieve any property the agent would not have allowed it The lien-holder notified us on the 24th, mid-day, that the loan was satisfiedWe informed the lien-holder that the vehicle was en-route to auctionWe were advised that the customer would be contacting usWith in minutes the customer called our officeShe was inquiring as to the location of her vehicle as she had satisfied the loan with the lien-holderShe was informed that the vehicle was being transported to the auction facility and would be there by shortlyThe customer inquired about her property from inside the vehicleShe was informed that it was our policy to remove any personal items prior to a vehicle being transported to auctionShe was informed that her property was stored at our location and that there was storage owed for that, a flat rate charge of $This was upsetting to the customerShe began making claims that we were holding her car hostage despite it being en-route to auctionShe began claiming that what we were doing was illegal and she had spoken with her lawyerThe customer then stated, “you have no idea who I am or what I do for a living but your getting ready to find out”It was at this point she hung up with no further comment As of this day, February 2, 2017, we have not heard anything further from the customer
