Review: I attended an auction with my teenage bipolar and ADD daughter on 4/8/16. She bid on an item without my authority. I bid on items I changed my mind on too. When I attempted to have them removed from my order that night to get my $100 back, I was told that I had to purchase the items. I found out later that I could have walked away and just lost my $100, but they did not tell me this, and I have ADD and bipolar too so I took what they said as the truth. I was instead told that I could only swap out the sofa for another one, so I did this, but I wanted a refund. So I told them that night before I made the purchase that I didn't want the purchase. I called them Monday, 4/11/16 and cancelled the delivery and asked a supervisor for my money back. I was told there is a no refund policy. I don't think this policy should apply to me because I asked for my money back prior to making the purchase and my daughter did not have the authority to make her bid. I also contacted them immediately after making the purchase to request the refund. It's their mistake that they didn't agree to not charge me that night. I subsequently talked to the owner, again asking for my money back and was told not only that they wouldn't refund my money, but that they would start charging me a $40/ daily storage fee for keeping the furniture there. They said the bank will deny my dispute and by then I will owe several thousand dollars to them for storage.Desired Settlement: I request a refund for the full amount of purchase $4699.25. In the event that you cannot issue a refund, I request that they not charge me $40/ a day in storage until my bank decides if they will take off the charge. I requested a refund prior to making the purchase, my minor daughter made the bid, and I was wrongly told I had to accept the bid.
