I am rejecting this response because River City Automotive has proven to be less than trustworthy and not at all honest in their business dealings, especially with respect to young, [redacted] malesRiver City Automotive and her representatives willingly entered into a contract with [redacted] and effectively breached that contractThe representatives of River City Automotive further continue to bear witness by stating, "Mr [redacted] prematurely wore his clutch out." I have owned and routinely operated (daily mode of transport) three manual transmission vehicles and have NEVER prematurely worn out my clutch The fact of the matter is River City Automotive and its representatives have engaged in unfair, deceptive and predatory business practices [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because River City Automotive has proven to be less than trustworthy and not at all honest in their business dealings, especially with respect to young, [redacted] males. River City Automotive and her representatives willingly entered into a contract with [redacted] and effectively breached that contract. The representatives of River City Automotive further continue to bear false witness by stating, "Mr. [redacted] prematurely wore his clutch out." I have owned and routinely operated (daily mode of transport) three manual transmission vehicles and have NEVER prematurely worn out my clutch. 
The fact of the matter is River City Automotive and its representatives have engaged in unfair, deceptive and predatory business practices.

On February 20, 2014, Mr. [redacted] had his 2000 Volks Wagon
#222222;">Beetle towed by a tow truck to River City Auto Repair because thevehicle would not drive. Upon further inspection, we had found thatthe clutch was burnt up due to aggressive driving or a novice with themanual transmission. Mr. [redacted] prematurely wore his clutch out.[redacted] contacted Mr. [redacted] with an estimate of $925.55 toremove and replace the clutch assembly; at that time Mr. [redacted] gaveauthorization for us to repair the vehicle. During the progress of therepair Mr. [redacted] came in on numerous occasions to inspect the damagedparts and receive updates on our progress. Once the repairs werecompleted Mr. [redacted] was notified. Upon arrival for his repairedvehicle, he requested to take it for a test drive, not for the A/Ccompressor (because that can be tested without driving the vehicle),but for the new clutch assembly that was installed. After Mr. [redacted]was gone for more than an hour and called numerous times while he wason his "test drive" we then notified the police and Mr. [redacted] wasfound at his apartment complex. The police subsequently informed himthat he had left without paying for an authorized repair and that heneeded to return the vehicle or pay for the repair. Mr. [redacted] thenreturned the vehicle, parked it in the middle of the drive way, lockedthe doors and left with the key. At that point we took action to makeanother key. Subsequently new charges are accruing for the making andprograming of a new key, storage, mechanics lien, and the originalrepair for the clutch. River City Automotive strives to provide greatservice for a reasonable price with integrity. We are sorry that thisunfortunate incident happened and would like people to know that theseare in no regard the way we operate at River City Automotive.
