Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/12/08) */ Ms [redacted] was a tenant at [redacted] and her tenancy ended on 08/03/She was present for her unit inspection and days later, the disposition form was sent to her forwarding address as is standard policy Ms [redacted] was a pre-existing tenant at this property when River City Management began management services in January The previous management company handled all existing tenant leases prior to our service inception date and had handled Ms [redacted] as well upon her moto her original unit After we began management, several units were renovated and Ms [redacted] expressed interest in moving into one of the updated unitsShe was allowed to and signed a new lease for that unit (copy attached) and NO DEPOSIT was collected on the lease agreement she made with Rive City ManagementTherefore, Ms [redacted] is not entitled to a deposit since none was ever paid/charged for her lease The property owner contracted with a previous management company who had facilitated the original lease with Ms [redacted] on her original unit and no funds were ever transferred to River City Management on her behalf; additionally, she was allowed to upgrade apartments and was relieved from paying a new deposit as a courtesy made to her as well as for a few other pre-existing tenantsShe agreed to an increase in rent for the new unit as well to $($50-more than her previous unit) Based on the documents signed by Ms [redacted] agreeing no deposit was collected, we believe this complaint is unfounded and baselessWe have attempted to convey this information to Ms [redacted] on several occasions with no successWe apologize for any confusion Ms [redacted] may have related to her original deposit, however, we have never been in possession or held any deposit funds on her behalf during her tenancy with River City Management

pre-existing tenant at this property when River City Management began management services in January 2014. The previous management company handled all existing tenant leases prior to our service inception date and had handled Ms. [redacted] as well upon her move-in to her original unit.
After we began management, several units were renovated and Ms. [redacted] expressed interest in moving into one of the updated units. She was allowed to and signed a new lease for that unit (copy attached) and NO DEPOSIT was collected on the lease agreement she made with Rive City Management. Therefore, Ms. [redacted] is not entitled to a deposit since none was ever paid/charged for her lease.
