River City Wrap Reviews (4)

We had River City Wrap last week overlay our cracking cement driveway and walkway with aggregateThe crew (Time, Chad, Nick & Ricki) was on time, started work after telling us what to expect and setting the agendaThe crew was very pleasant working with as wellThe workmanship is outstanding and we exactly what we contracted for The owner Brandon stopped by once the work was completed, reviewed the work make sure we were satisfied and then explained exactly what we needed to do in order to make sure the work set properlyWe are very happy with the work done and would highly recommend this company for applying aggregateVery happy client!

Noted Timeline for *** *** Job price: $***On 12/10/15- Walkway installed-The following day arrived to remove sides and inspect walkway and stoop-paw prints running down the entire walkway and on the porch. -We also had 4 areas of resin build up that needed to
be reworked and some stones had settled on the stoopRepairs were made.-I informed *** about the paw prints from her cat and repairs that were needed. Repairs were made at no charge even though our warranty does not include animal prints.I stated if the repairs didn't look better we would add another layer. -The following day I inspected and removed sides. The repairs made on the walkway looked almost invisible but some stones settled below the wood frame and I stated we would fix that when the weather was cooperative. The weather had now turned and our season was closed. I tried to get her in even with inclement temperatures. She was scheduled for January 6th to try and fix the issuesThough our season had closed. On January 6th the temperatures were of course not cooperative but I did go to inspect the walkway. At this time the repairs were not noticeable. She was told I would return when our season opened and we would fix the stoop problem, give a full refund or reoverlay the entire project if things didn't look better when we finished all repairs*** turned down a full refund on multiple occasions. We rescheduled April 14th to make repairs.A few days before the project date I went by to inspectI saw nothing abexcept for the stoop. On April 14th I sent my guys to redo the stoop.Upon arrival my foreman called me and stated that *** had stated if we do not overlay the entire project she was going to sue. This hit a nerve because of series of events that had occurred during our correspondenceDuring install one of our employees backed into her work van and busted a taillightNot only did she sue my insurance company for the taillight and vehicle damage but she sued for loss of wagesThe problem with that is, on multiple occasions our company saw her driving this vehicleNot only that but they told me when it happened it was no problem because they had other work vans.At this point I did not want to do any type of business ***It was clear *** was the type to try and take advantage of the system. After I stated that we were no longer doing any work for her, I again told her a refund would be issued. She stated that we were rude with her but that is far from the truthWe have recorded messages to prove her character. Here are ***'* words through recorded message with Angel our secretary. "He can send a refund, Im not gonna cash it. I am gonna sue him if he does not fix that sidewalk. Im not gonna cash his checkBut I am going to the courthouse and I am going to file papersAnd so, he can talk to his lawyerAnything he wants but this has been ongoing since DecemberIf he thinks for one second, I don’t care what lawyer he hasThat judge is going to be " you mean in six months you couldn’t have had this ladies, her porchHow big is it? How long is it? " He's going to _inaudible_ himselfSo be it, that’s up to himThat’s just the bottom lineLike I said I'm not trying to be nasty but this is just ridiculousHe's pissed off with me because his employee hit the vanAnd then my mom got money from the insurance companyI have nothing to do with thatSo am I understanding that he told me they were going to fix and that Tim was going to get the suppliesSo I'm understanding now that they are not coming back. So let him know, you really canAnd like I said if I had his number I would tell himI have his text messages, I have his email saying that he was going to honor thatTell him that I'm not worried, its going to cost him much more than $*** and that’s just that.As you can see *** admitted that we tried to offer a refund but it was deniedShe then sued us for twice the cost of the installAfter I told her I had recorded her telling us that she was "going to get us for much more" and that "he can send a refund I will not cash it" her tune changed and she submitted a timeline including those recorded statementsI showed up for the first court date to prove my case with pictures and recorded statements from ***Unfortunately that was only a preliminary hearingI did not show for th actual trial after reading her timelineIt was obvious what she was doing and I knew a judge would not order me to pay double the cost of install after all my attempts to refund her moneyI did find out the judge ordered us to give a refund which I am ready and willing to giveI have been trying this for a year. She will not receive any services from us or redo'sA full refund has been ordered by a judge and that will be in the mail as soon as she is willing to accept it

I hired this company in December to resurface my porch & sidewalk, people came out & did the job we were told not to walk on it for 24-hoursThe next day the sides of the porch had fallen down there were multiple areas on the sidewalk & porch that were not smooth were very noticeableI called the company the owner with staff members came over a few days later to patch the areas & fix the porchI told them immediately after I saw what they had patched I pointed out all the areas they had patched told him I was not satisfied with the results because areas didn't blend & were still very noticeableThe owner said that they would just redo the job over but couldn't do it that day because they didn't have enough supplies on the truck to complete the job that same dayWe rescheduled another day, the company called canceledWe rescheduled again, the company called rescheduled againThe date that was scheduled again needless to say the owner canceled agai
