Dear Revdex.com of Minnesota and North Dakota
Ref: Complaint Case #***
Thank you for contacting us regarding the above complaint that was filed with your office by a Mr*** *** on November 20th, regarding his
claims of receiving a defective Chicken Egg Incubator that he purchased from us on eBay back on June 8th, We have not heard from this customer since July 20th, when his initial warranty issue was resolved by us
We have researched the issue and have outlined the chronological order of events for your review
6/8/Party purchased a new *** Chicken Egg Incubator Model #from us on eBay and paid via PayPalItem was shipped and then received by the customer on June 11thFedEx tracking number ***
7/19/Party contacted us stating he was having trouble using the unit and could not adjust the internal temperature above F, we forwarded the party's complaint to ***, as they are the manufacture and handle all warranty claims directly as we are just a ecommerce retailer for them
7/20/We received return direction from *** and forwarded those instructions to Mr*** asked for the party to return the control box only as it would be covered under warranty and they would inspect it and fix or replace as per their warranty policy on the unit
7/20/Mr*** responded via email that he was returning the control box only directly to *** as directed and provided a USPS tracking number of ***
7/20/We closed Mr***'s complaint with us as it was now being handled directly as a warranty issue between Mr*** and ***
10/13/*** received a warranty claim request from Mr***, claiming his incubator did not work
10/14/*** issued a UPS call tag and picked up an incubator from Mr***, UPS tracking number: *** and sent him a brand new unitThey were unable to adequately inspect the returned unit due to its extreme usage
11/16/We received an unopened incubator in the mail with the return name rubbed off and no notes inside the package to indicate whom it was from, USPS tracking number: The outside of the package had a UPS label still partially intact, showing it was shipped from *** to someone who's name was marked out along with part of the tracking number that was on the label
12/6/We received this Revdex.com complaint
12/9/We received notice from PayPal that Mr*** is claiming an unauthorized use of his credit card back on 6/8/and that he did not purchase or receive any chicken incubators
After reviewing the facts and talking with *** directly it appears the customer may of had a legitimate warranty issue which was handled back in July, and then proceeded to use the unit until he was done hatching his eggs in the incubator and then returned a dirty and fully used unit back to *** claiming it did not work so he could receive a new unit from them and then try to return that new unit to us for a refundSince until we received this complaint we had no idea where the return came in November we did not who was wanting a refund on whatWe are assuming, now since we could not issue a refund, not knowing to whom, Mr*** now December 09, made claim of unauthorized use of his PayPal account back in June in an attempt to get his money back on his purchase
Both *** and us have attempted to contact Mr*** to seek clarifications of the facts as presented since they don't make sense and he has refused to answer any of our inquires
At this time as appears Mr*** is attempting to commit some type of fraud against both *** and ourselves neither *** nor us will issue a refund until this can be sorted out further
Respectfully Yours,
Daniel V***

Thank you and the customer for contacting us regarding their concern about their purchase from our companyI have reviewed the the information the customer provided and compared to the information we have fileI do show that the customer order a heating element and controller for a smoker and that
the customer contacted us as this wished to return itThe customer was provided with specific return instructions with includes a Return Merchandise Number which must be included in the return package to match the return with the original order so we can accurately and timely issue a refund after inspection and restocking fees.? I have seen the customer had contacted us once questioning their return in December, however our system is not showing a Return Merchandise Slip matching her returnThe customer was asked to provide a valid tracking number in case she did not follow the return instructions and include the Return Merchandise Number or any identifying papers with her return pakageTo date (Jan 21, 2018) We have not been provide with a USPS return tracking number for the package.Once we receive a valid tracking number we can compare that to the few returns we receive each month were the customers fails to follow return instructions and do not include any identified papers in the packageWe maintain an exception report each month as there are customers that forget or for what ever reason do not include information in the package and only throw their return in a box and mail it back and expect us to know who they areThe our only recourse is to copy the return package tracking number and compare that to customer return requestsOnce the customer provides her tracking number I can compare the list of unclaimed returns for November and If it matches then an appropriate refund can be issued per our refund policy.Thank you in advance,Daniel V***CLORiver Country LLC? ?

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/12/10) */
Dear Revdex.com of Minnesota and North Dakota
Ref: Complaint Case #[redacted]
Thank you for contacting us regarding the above complaint that was filed with your office by a Mr. [redacted] on November 20th, 2015 regarding his...

claims of receiving a defective Chicken Egg Incubator that he purchased from us on eBay back on June 8th, 2015. We have not heard from this customer since July 20th, 2015 when his initial warranty issue was resolved by us.
We have researched the issue and have outlined the chronological order of events for your review.
6/8/15 Party purchased a new [redacted] Chicken Egg Incubator Model #4250 from us on eBay and paid via PayPal. Item was shipped and then received by the customer on June 11th. FedEx tracking number [redacted].
7/19/15 Party contacted us stating he was having trouble using the unit and could not adjust the internal temperature above 84 F, we forwarded the party's complaint to [redacted], as they are the manufacture and handle all warranty claims directly as we are just a ecommerce retailer for them.
7/20/15 We received return direction from [redacted] and forwarded those instructions to Mr. [redacted] asked for the party to return the control box only as it would be covered under warranty and they would inspect it and fix or replace as per their warranty policy on the unit.
7/20/15 Mr. [redacted] responded via email that he was returning the control box only directly to [redacted] as directed and provided a USPS tracking number of [redacted].
7/20/15 We closed Mr. [redacted]'s complaint with us as it was now being handled directly as a warranty issue between Mr. [redacted] and [redacted].
10/13/15 [redacted] received a warranty claim request from Mr. [redacted], claiming his incubator did not work.
10/14/15 [redacted] issued a UPS call tag and picked up an incubator from Mr. [redacted], UPS tracking number: [redacted] and sent him a brand new unit. They were unable to adequately inspect the returned unit due to its extreme usage.
11/16/15 We received an unopened incubator in the mail with the return name rubbed off and no notes inside the package to indicate whom it was from, USPS tracking number: 9114901189866977598442. The outside of the package had a UPS label still partially intact, showing it was shipped from [redacted] to someone who's name was marked out along with part of the tracking number that was on the label.
12/6/15 We received this Revdex.com complaint.
12/9/14 We received notice from PayPal that Mr. [redacted] is claiming an unauthorized use of his credit card back on 6/8/15 and that he did not purchase or receive any chicken incubators.
After reviewing the facts and talking with [redacted] directly it appears the customer may of had a legitimate warranty issue which was handled back in July, and then proceeded to use the unit until he was done hatching his eggs in the incubator and then returned a dirty and fully used unit back to [redacted] claiming it did not work so he could receive a new unit from them and then try to return that new unit to us for a refund. Since until we received this complaint we had no idea where the return came in November we did not who was wanting a refund on what. We are assuming, now since we could not issue a refund, not knowing to whom, Mr. [redacted] now December 09, 2015 made claim of unauthorized use of his PayPal account back in June in an attempt to get his money back on his purchase.
Both [redacted] and us have attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] to seek clarifications of the facts as presented since they don't make sense and he has refused to answer any of our inquires.
At this time as appears Mr. [redacted] is attempting to commit some type of fraud against both [redacted] and ourselves neither [redacted] nor us will issue a refund until this can be sorted out further.
Respectfully Yours,
Daniel V. [redacted]

[redacted] President (Mr. Benjamin T. [redacted], Jr.)issued a full refund (Check #[redacted] dated 12-2-2015) Minnesota Revdex.com Complaint Case# [redacted]. In my opinion River Country is bereft of a moral compass and cannot differentiate truth from falsehoods; I have communicated with River Country through ebay messaging system which I and have documented proof, on the following dates in 2015: 7/30, 7/31, 8/2, 8/3, 10/5, 10/7, 11/11, 11/13, 11/17,and 11/20. I even received a refund through my concurrent credit card dispute, however I have asked My representatives to return that amount (since Mr. [redacted] already satisfied my request). River Country was begged and then warned that actions would be taken and the final emails were very clear on my intentions; they refused to communicate and now lie about the fact.
