My name is [redacted] I filed a complaint against Meineke last month I received an email from Revdex.com stating they haven't responded I'm just letting you know, they did call me and attempted to fix the problem I'm not convinced they have fixed the electrical issue, but they did try and it looked ok for weeks I don't want anything further from them Thanks for your help Regards, [redacted]

I am responding to the complaint referenced above (#***) We are a 100% honest company and we pride ourselves in doing honest businessWe absolutely would have never tried to give this customer a low estimate for movingThat’s not how we do businessI have attached all communications
and documentations that were involved from the beginning to the end with this customer, including the actual weight tickets for this move, the estimated packing and the actual packing, all signed paperwork, and all emails between myself and this customerUpon reading it, I am sure you will understand that we had no wrong doing in this situationThis customer was simply trying to pack and move a lot of his belongings himself and was coming back and forth from out of town and by the time the move was scheduled to take place, he simply did not get done what he had hoped to and we were told to finish packing what needed to be packed and move everything that needed to be movedThe charges on this move went up because the customer did not get done what he had hoped to and it’s as simple as thatThen once the price went up to actual weight and actual packing, the customer got very upset and started accusing us of wrongdoing I am the surveyor who went to his home in the very beginning and I tried to warn him that if he didn’t get it all done the charges could go up substantially and he said he understoodAlso, when the customer spoke to *** **and told him he might want to have his belongings delivered back to the original location, *** told him he could pick it up from our warehouse if he wantedHe then told *** that he would get back to him on thatWe made multiple attempts to call him and allow him to do so, and he would not return our callsWhen he finally called us back, the driver had already picked his shipment up from our warehouse and it was in route to destinationAs far as the additional $for the added protection that we tried to collect after the move, that was our mistake in not noticing the customer had added that when he signed the paperwork and after his final response to that, we are no longer trying to collect that because it was obviously our oversight. I have additional information to add to our response to this complaintUpon reading the customers statements again today, I am noticing more allegations that are falseThe customer states that his furniture was moved without his authorization and that’s simply not true as he signed an estimate and order for service and all other associated paperwork that is standard in securing a moving serviceHe also states that we were days late in arriving at destination and that is not true as his furniture arrived on 09/and that was the final date on our delivery window that he also had signed and agreed on(His delivery window was 8/29-09/02) As far as us requesting an additional $292.00, we did make an office error by not realizing that the customer had added valuation coverage when he returned his signed copies and did not realize our error until after the move but when the customer says he received an initial quote for $from us, (and he states that in his complaint letter) that price included the $that he added for valuation coverageSo he was clearly aware of this charge, and it’s obvious that we were not trying to add additional charges that were unjust. This customer is trying to make it look like he is a victim here and acting as though we are some rogue company that was trying to trick him and then raise his price when the absolute honest truth is that this person did not pack or move what he had intended to and we ended up packing and moving more than originally estimatedThis was not a Guaranteed estimate and truth be told we are actually the victim here because this customer is trying to tarnish our good name that we have worked so hard to earn by doing good honest business. When he initially called in, he told me that he had another estimate for $and I informed him that he should go ahead with that company because it would be at least $minimum with us sight unseen, he then decided to have me over to his home for a physical survey After the physical survey, we gave him our estimate of $and he eventually accepted our offer, and later added full value coverage with a $deductible to bring the estimated amount to $We even had him initial a special instructions comment on the estimate trying to protect ourselves since he seemed unsure of how much he would get moved(See the estimate I attached in the first email to you) I have been doing moving estimates with this company for over years and I pride myself in giving accurate and honest estimates I just wanted to give you some more details on this case because there are sides to every storyThanks so much for your time, and if you need anything else from us, please call or email anytime. *** *** American of Virginia Inc.Office: ###-###-####Cell: ###-###-####Fax: ###-###-####

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
