I had the absolute worst Customer
Service experience at RiverFront Chrysler today. I went to the Service Department to inquire about having the Fuel Filler Housing replaced on my RAM 1500, as the plastic unit ( that encases the gas fuel filler neck) broke at the rivets when I had to use force to dislodge the gas pump (which was stuck) after fueling.
I spoke with Mike Goehring, the Service Manager after making an appointment to be sure they had the part and that it was covered under my extended warranty (7/60 Maximum Care Plan). Mike instead gave me the third degree, stating he never heard of this ever happening with a vehicle. I explained that their was actually a class action lawsuit underway for this very issue and is why Chrysler changed the design for later model RAM 1500's. (But that wasn't my concern). Again, asking Mike if this would be covered under my extended warranty (MOPAR Vehicle Protection), Mike said he wouldn't know and couldn't check until I came in for the appointment and they did a diagnostic, took pictures and contacted Chrysler Warranty( which he stated would take about three hours) Not one person was even willing to take a look while the truck which was there. Needless to say I WAS SHOCKED!(we were speaking of a plastic housing unit, not anything of a mechanical nature) I have personally purchased two new vehicles at RiverFront and took my son to recently purchase another one ( RAM 1500, Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Rubicon) and would expect at least halfway decent service, but recieved anything but that today. The dealership was all to eager to sell an extended warranty, but apparently too lazy to reasonably assist a repeat customer. I may not have been clean shaven today, however I am a business professional and shouldn't need to wear a shirt and tie to recieve equal treatment at any establishment. I would never again recommend Riverfront Chrysler to anyone. They apparently dont embrace diversity and Mike was very condescending to say the least.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:After getting the warranty from corporate I picked me Jeep up from riverfront and they told me everything was running perfectly fine an there was nothing wrong with my JeepFor the third time, I left their shop and within minutes my Jeep was broken down and being towed, but not to river front this timeNever again will I bring a vehicle to them Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The claims by the business are falseI have successfully repaired the lumbar adjustment mechanism myselfThe problem was caused by the cable which operated the lumbar mechanism being kinked or pinchedThe motor operates correctlyIf sufficient troubleshooting was done at the time of re-inspection, the technician would have noticed the problem and also the lack of problem with the motorAs far as the claims regarding exceeding the torque specs on my rear wheels, they are also being deceitfulThe wheels were removed by the technician when this service was performed and overtightenedThe front wheels were properly torqued after the service and only the rear wheels had problemsNo other shop or mechanic has touched this vehicle, so no one else could have done thisIf they claim that their multipoint inspection does not include inspecting for oil leaks, or in my case they missed the leak I have nothing to addThe leak is fixed and I would never rely on any business to inspect my vehicleOther consumers may not be in my situation.Other consumers should have fair warning about these practices by this businessTheir lack of taking responsibility for these actions and dismissing my claim is proof of their careless business practicesI have a background in automotive repair and am lucky enough to be able to perform all maintenance and repair on my own vehiclesOther consumers do not and deserve to be warned about this shop and their management Sincerely, [redacted]
