DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DUDE! Dude is a total jerk off and will absolutely lie to your face. I was in the position that I needed a car and fast. I let him know my situation and he put me in the car and let me drive. It had no recognizable issues but the check engine light was on. he let me know it was a simple fix and had already had it checked to be the O2 sensor which was cheap and quick. That was the first lie. The sensor had been unplugged for who knows how long and was dumping rich fuel into the cat. converter and it is now going to cost me thousands to fix. In addition to that there was a leak in the gasket around the top head he did NOT disclose. It also took me several weeks to have him finally mail me the title so I could finally pay the TTL at the DMV and that was only after SEVERAL calls and txts looking for it with little to no reply. Also stated he would bring a small exteriror trim that was missing at the time within the week and said he had ordered it. here I am 4 months out without a car and short thousands...still no trim piece. This man has no morals and is just waiting to take advantage of you. HE'S A SCAM ARTIST SEEKING HIS NEXT VICTIM BY POSTING LOW PRICES TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THOSE IN NEED!

would not be helping me, and have a nice day and he hung up. Mike has done nothing to fix the situation and now he is with holding my license plate, and the vehicle he sold me has so many problems, I can not even go back to Fl. in it as I don't want to be stranded on the highway with my dog, so I am stuck in La. until he makes this right and does the price adjustment as he raised the price an extra $1500 it should only have been $2500 after I paid my down payment of $1500,

I went to river parish auto and I purchased a 2007 Nissan with 150,000 miles
I was aware of as-is policy like most used dealers and I checked the car and that was the chance I was willing to take, so far so good
Bought more then one cars from mike over the years

Review: I purchase a vehicle from river Parish auto broker loc in Laplace, la. The guy that sold me the vehicle is named [redacted]. I honesty do not know much about cars and I was hoping this guy would be honest. He never told me the car had an oil leak. He said everything in perfect condition, I feel like this is not good faith and he had taken advantage of me. It's been 2 months and I haven't received my title for my car and I can't even get a license plate! I tried contacting him and he answered my phone call once and that was it. He told me he would call me back and he never did, he started ignoring my phone call and I have a car with a bill of sale and no title and license plateDesired Settlement: This man should not have a dealership license if he taken advantage of people. Contact him and research why I haven't received my title to my car
This is mike from River Parish Auto Brokers, most titles come within 10-14 days, that aren’t present at time of sale. Ever car is sold AS-IS, are the have the opportunity to purchase a warranty through a third party
Warranty’s start at 3 months and can be extended to 18 months
Ever customer has the opportunity to test drive and bring a mechanic to check out the vehicles before purchasing
Review: I purchased a car from the owner of the company [redacted]. I was worried about the "as is" policy so I asked him if it had any problems could I come back? He said sure and that he would help me out because he has a license to protect. After driving the car for about 2 days the check engine light came on, the car was smoking, and ran hot. I pulled the car over to the side of the road, upon returning the car had been towed. I paid $120 to get the car back. I called [redacted], the owner, and he stated that I should have the car checked out at Pep-Boys, I said I din't have the money as I just paid $3700 for the full sale of the car. He said he would take care of it so I placed it in the shop, they said I had a bad water pump and they could not test the engine because of that. I paid $40 to Pep-Boys so that they could release my car, [redacted] in no way tried to help me pay those fees are to get my car back to Laplace as he said he would "take care of the problem". I went to U-Haul and rented a trailer for $40, I towed the car to Laplace. [redacted], the owner, set me up with an auto shop next door . He wanted to charge me $380 for the water pump repairs. I advised [redacted] that [redacted] would be taking care of the costs, once I refused to pay, [redacted] started to ignore my calls and text messages. I reluctantly paid [redacted], I asked him if he tested the engine he said yes and it was running great. As soon as I made it to New Orleans the car ran hot again and was smoking. I immediately called [redacted], he asked me to bring the car back. I advised him that the car couldn't make it on the road.Again, I was duped out of money and the problem has yet to be resolved. [redacted] has claimed and accepted responsibility and is not doing anything to correct the issue. The car was recently purchased and has not been drivable at all, and he keeps making false promises.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund for the full amount of the car ..not whats listed on the bill of sale. I paid $3700 for the car, $40 for a trailer, $40 Pep-Boy exam, and $380 for the water pump

The owner wanted said several times that he would tow my car back to Laplace to check out the damages and fix the issue but he never sent a tow. Since my livelihood depends on my car I went ahead and had a shop replace the engine for $2500. I've sent text, and called him several times to atleast be compensated on this repair but he has not returned any phone calls.

This is Mike at River Parish Auto Brokers, I sell well over 200 cars a year and I’m sure I can’t satisfy everyone’s complaints. But like the original post says it was sold AS-IS! I would never say it’s AS-IS but if you have a problem call me! EVERYONE has the opportunity to drive the vehicle and have there mechanic check it out before purchasing, are buy a extended warranty
CARS ARE MACHINES, AND MACHINES BREAK AT ANYTIME WITHOUT NOTICE!

Review: I talk to Mike who is the owner of River Parish Auto Brokers, I told him my situation about visiting my sister here in N. O. how my van got shot then I got in a wreck and it was total and needed another vehicle so I could go back to Florida, I explained to him I was disabled and on SSI and got so much a month, he said he checked my credit score and it was a 600 which I was surprised since I told him I had bad credit and needed something I could afford, well Mike who is the owner was so nice to me and my daughter he just seemed like a good trusting guy, well I was wrong, after being there for several hours the paper work was almost done, I signed 3 papers one he said was showing that my not would be $208.12 which I was ok. with, the second paper I signed was to show how much I owned total I asked him this and ha said yes, which was 5,400 which was still high I thought, I had declined the Gap but he said I had to have that, but did not tell me how much, then he told me I had to register the vehicle here in La. I could not do it in Florida, I wanted to put my handicap plate on it but Mike said I couldn't, he also said I had to pay cash, so deal done he told me to put my papers in the glove box and forget about them, when I got home I looked over the papers and saw 8 extra papers were added that I didn't see, his add advertised $3999 with a warranty he charged me 5400 I put 1500 down I should have owned 2500 plus whatever taxes all said and done I now have to pay 8,992.32 for a vehicle that should have been 2500, I talk to Mike about this he called me crazy, stupid and told me I got the shaft, and the vehicle is advertised as perfect running with ice cold A/C the fuel light is on along with the Service Engine Soon, ABS, and the Brake is on, it makes a loud noise inside the A/C went out for 20 minutes Sunday and every time you open the door the alarm goes off, which he said wouldn't without the key farv the odometer should be 190000 as advertised but its 232,000 he threatened me if I tried to reportDesired Settlement: I want Mike to give me the price that was on the vehicle of $3999 with the warranty and fix everything that is wrong with this vehicle and I want an apology for him being so deceitful and laughing at me when I went back.

Review: Hi I bought a car from this dealer in Laplace la and he's been giving me the run around for several weeks about sending me my title. I still haven't received it and I've had the car for a month now and the tax collector is trying to charge me penalties about the tag.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money back that I paid for the car and also the money I put it in to have it repaired

This is mike at River Parish Auto Brokers, we sell well over 200 cars a year and on the very rare occasion that a title is not revived after 14 days, its the LAW that I must pay any and all late fees with the registration of the vehicle
Most times the title is NOT picked up by the customer until there temp tags expired
