Review: They installed windows in my residence and one began leaking, I contacted them to remedy the problem. One part of the leak was resolved, four months ago Scott M[redacted] the owner told me he had ordered a replacement part to correctly repair window and allow water to run away from the window and the house. I have tried numerous times to have the repairs completed and have received promises and excuses ranging from not having enough employees to going out of business for why he cannot honor and stand behind the work he and his company have performed. The last time we spoke Scott assured me he would reorder the part needed but I would have to find someone else to complete the repairs because as of 9/22/15 he will no longer be in business, which translates into paying to get a job done twice. As of today no parts or repairs have been delivered.Desired Settlement: I want the repairs completed correctly and in a timely manner without having to pay someone else to do the work that was already paid for.

When the call came of a window leak, which was a product I installed and because it was a picture window, and this is a product I have never had any issues with, I went there immediately to address the issue. I found out that the silicone seal was not adequate. After speaking to the manufacturer and was given a directive as to how to repair the issue, I did as instructed and water tested the window before I left with the homeowner. The homeowner called her husband and explained to him what was done and that a piece of capping that was installed with the window, not as part of the original job but because without it, the window would leak. The capping is of aluminum and sits on the stucco ledge and is an L shape to the bottom of the window. The piece of metal might cost $2.00. The homeowner's husband asked for a remedy and I suggested that a new piece could be installed maybe with a better angle. The job is a considerable distance for me. Since the time I was there, I have had a complete employee turnover and no one to work with me. I do not have the capacity to install the part at no charge. The part he has is doing what it is supposed to do. He called to ask if I was going to come and install the part. I informed him of my business situation and told him I would be happy to get the part made since he comes to the New Orleans are, I would give it to him and he could have is stucco personnel install it. I had the part made and called his wife to let her know the part was done and to call me and let me know where they would like to meet me. I also called him and got no answer. The part is still in Harahan. I awaiting his phone call.
