This correspondence is in response to ID *** *** and *** *** decided to transfer into a two-bedroom apartment on site on September 26,2015, they were currently living at River Road separately in bedroom apartmentsWhen they moved into their two-bedroom apartment on
September 26, 2015, they brought to our attention that there were some issues witht he apartment that they did not find acceptable and wanted them fixedI personally met with *** and *** about these issues to make sure that all of their concerns were addressed to their satisfactionWe even refunded the transfer fee of $and one week's prorated rent equal to $as a goodwill gesture due to their inconvenience. Our property was built in and has metal window frames that tend to sweat or produce condensation on the inside when it is cold outside due to the variance in temperature between the inside of the apartment and the air outsideWhen the windows sweat the condensation will mix with dust and dirt, if the windows are not cleaned on a regular basis this can build up leaving a residue on the frame and around it*** called us about the issue on December 31, and requested that maintenance come over to look at and resolve the issueMaintenance responded on January 6, The windows were cleaned and sealed to help prevent any further occurrencesA follow up call was made to *** on January 7, by Ashley the Assistant ManagerBoth parties agreed that the moisture was condensation and not a plumbing leak*** was asked if there was anything else we could do for her or if she had any other maintenance concerns at that time and she did notI have attached a copy pf their Move In checklist that lists the issues with the apartmentIt was mentioned in the complaint that they listed sever structural issues upon moving in, the only issues that were brought to our attention are listed on the attached Move In checklistAll of these issues were addressed promptly when brought to our attentionUnfortunately, sometimes maintenance issues will arise, I feel that we have addressed both ***'s and ***'s concerns promptlyAs far as their file goes, I took it over and finished processing prior to their move in on September 26, The file is correct and has had all the occupant information listed correctly since their move in dateThe unfortunate issue with the Leasing Consultant they were working with was due to the Leasing Consultant being a new employeeShe was still trying to learn all processes and procedures and unfortunately processing the paperwork for the transfer took slightly longer than normalShe has been thoroughly trained and is a courteous and professional employee.
The desired settlement that *** and *** requested of being let out of their lease without penalties will be grantedI called *** today and relayed that information to herI hope this information is helpful and clarifies some issuesIf I can be of further assistance, please let me knowRespectfully,
